Lovely food at Sunday lunch. Really very nice. Tempered a bit by a couple of staff who's attitude to customers was a little rude. Not all staff.

Location good for a drive into Exmoor, can't fault the food but sadly, the waitress serving us lacked any customer friendliness. Too many faults to give details of but replies such as "if I've got time, I'll get you some" when asked if there was any ketchup for my children's meals left us somewhat speechless. Stars are for the food quality, but nothing else!

We were driving back to our camp site and missed the turn off and came across the pub so went in to see if they were still serving meals witch they said yes. So glad we did the wife Jan and sister in law Rita both had chicken and leek pie and I had liver and bacon both ladies said it was the best pasty they had had for many a year. The staff were so helpful came over too talk to us and then the chef came over to ask if all was well with witch we said about the pasty .All in all a great place with great food and lovely staff well done to you all.

Just stayed at this accommodation for a family birthday. We stayed in the cottage as there were 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs ! The cottage was absolutely great, clean and nicely decorated, had everything we could have wanted. The staff were fantastic, food was great and they couldn't do enough for you. Would defiantly recommend.

You need to read up to page 373 of a novel called "The Living and the Dead in Winsford" and then come hear for lunch in the depths of winter and stay a couple of nights and that will give you time to finish this book right by the Moors....!!! Awesome...!!!
