Very sad to hear this news. We send our sincerest condolences to the family.

Some of our Moorland Mousie Trust ponies end up in the most wonderful environments. Thanks to Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust in the Forest of Dean who gave them a home and a job to do conservation grazing.

Thank You Barnstaple Equestrian Supplies for supporting our girls.

We don't believe this is a problem on Exmoor but it is an important message.

WELL DONE & THANK YOU SOPHIE ❀️

Another beautiful photograph of Exmoor. What a wonderful place to be. If you are not lucky enough to see the free living ponies or even if you do you can visit us and get up close and learn about their history. We are open from 10am - 4pm except on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We also provide riding for all abilities which needs to be booked in advance. For more information please visit our website. http://www.exmoorponycentre.org.uk/

Good luck to Sophie from our team and the ponies for her fundraising challenge this weekend. There's still time to donate to support Sophie. πŸ™‚

The visitors on our stable yard tour loved our Millsey with his 'dreadlocks'. No products required for this look, it is completely natural. πŸ™‚

Thank you to everyone who came to the last of our August Activity Afternoons yesterday. We hope you had an enjoyable time meeting and interacting with our ponies. The two grooming ponies Abbi and Tom certainly looked very shiny at the end of the day πŸ™‚

The last of our August Activity Afternoons takes place on Thursday 30th. Don't miss out !!

You can listen to our Manager Linzi Green and Dr. Sue Baker speaking about Exmoor Ponies on today's Radio 4 World at One program. Correspondent Emma Jane Kirby is riding our very own Abbi who you can hear passing wind! The piece starts at about 28 minutes and 40 seconds.

Another great fundraiser for our Exmoor Pony charity. Please give all the support you can for this amazing challenge.

It is so irresponsible to leave litter around. This could have ended badly.

The delicious Whortleberry Jam from Brendon Hill Crafts is now available to buy from our Centre.

Worked on a job here for a couple of days out of season and found the staff very pleasant .

Will be taking my granddaughter her in the summer.

We had a fantastic time at the exmoor pony centres activity day. My girls enjoyed grooming Tom and riding Rama (so much so I think we will be visiting again) The staff were 5* and super with my children. Thank you all for your hard work and a great day out.

User

We had a fantastic experience here. Not only did we get to ride Fudge, Rama and Kate, we were taught how to tack up and check over the pony first.

Highly recommend this for newbie riders like my two kids.

Thank you.

Visited today with our family and Geoff and absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for letting Jessica groom Tom. I'm not sure who enjoyed the visit more, her or me! Keep up the fantastic work. Well worth a visit.

Place on my list I want to visit love seeing all pictures videos posted great to see the hard work put into these ponys

My two sons had a brilliant fun session with Fleeter and Fudge. I particularly liked the way they had β€˜hands on’ lesson how to groom the ponies. The instructors were so friendly, patient and informative. The mini trek was perfect in length. We were made very welcome as a family with thoughtful access to warming refreshments on a very icy cold but sunny morning. All in all, it was clear how well set up the centre was with its lovely gift shop, information area and ponies welcoming you at the entrance. Thank you to the staff for making our long w/e in Exmoor a special one.

User

My 3 daughters had a fantastic time at the activity day this morning doing the Easter trail, grooming Almond and Tom and riding on Rama, staff/volunteers were all fantastic and we enjoyed delicious cakes and cups of tea in the Green Room. will certainly be back again, thank you

User

Many thanks to all at the centre for a brilliant taster session for our granddaughter who had never ridden before. She had a wonderful time, everything was explained so she felt very safe and comfortable. She couldn't believe how much she go to do - grooming Fudge (who was very patient), cleaning his hooves, learning to lead, give voice commands, and once she was aboard, to steer, start (and stop). The best bit, she said, was trotting. She had a beatific smile throughout! Oh no, what have we started !

User

Keep up the amazing work you do, think this place is brilliant xx

Had a wonderful ride out on Dylan on Friday morning. Blessed with great weather. I've ridden with you a few times and always enjoy my visits.

Thoroughly recommend a visit or a ride. This is a fabulous resource for spreading the word on this wonderful native breed.

Growing up my parents had horses so having had some experience I can say with certainty these horses are well cared for. We did the Lanes experience and it was lovely that they spent time with us going through grooming and tacking up before we went out. I rode Abby, a gentle old lady and my daughter rode Fudge. It is such a shame this organisation is struggling financially when there are as few as 400 Exmoor Ponies left. Visit. Support. Donate. Enjoy :-)
