The whole experience has been exceptional, incredibly helpful and courteous staff, beautiful setting overlooking a quayside area of the canal and beautiful rooms. The meals have been superb, presented beautifully without any fuss if you alter the menu to your own liking. A brilliant stay in a lovely hotel.
Really poor. Liver undercooked, red raw! Medium steak overcooked! Rice dish soggy.
Childs fish & chips were OK.
Staff friendly and helpful.
But had to have a meal sent back to the kitchen, so therefore did not eat with the family. Waste of time and a lot of money.
Very disappointed. 😔
The pub next door was fully booked, the Falcon was half full.

Excellent food. Great staff. Superb location. High tea in the Green Room was a lovely experience (the best chocolate eclairs ever!!) Dinner in the Coachman was wonderful. Extremely tasty Paella.
Friendly and helpful staff, even though it was extremely busy. Had a good meal with family.

A lovely friendly hotel. Nice atmosphere. Free wifi. They are very welcoming to non- residents. The bar/dining area is cosy considering its size.
