Last month we called out the star inn a lipsync battle. Gave them 3 weeks to respond. The video with the most likes wins. We are using these videos to help raise awareness of our towns defibrillator appeal. Of which we have charities buckets in the pubs. Loosing pub wears pjs on Saturday the 1st of September to work. such a lovely place realaxing warm friendy staff hollie and tez the food is out of this world fantasic tate melt in the mouth nice log burners never tasted food as good as at the falcon

We have been planning on visiting for a while having heard from friends how good The Falcon was. We were not disappointed. Great food across all 3 courses accompanied by a really good red wine at a reasonable price. Standout was the rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection and so so tasty. Great service with attentive staff. Will most definitely be going back. Thank you The Falcon for a really nice experience on our wedding anniversary.

The best ever! Put me straight into a food coma but I could not fault the food. Miller and Carter is like cat food compared to this � #sorry. To top it off the price wasn’t that bad �

My wife won 2x 32oz T-Bones in a Facebook competition and she booked up this fantastic prize to have on Father’s Day evening. Gotta say we have been wanting to try this place out for a while but with 2 young children, a pregnant wife, both work etc it’s hard finding the time so took advantage of winning those steaks an couldn’t recommend this place enough. Lovely decor, friendly staff, quick service and meals were top quality. Just go try it for yourselfs 🥩😋👌🏻 Thanks again 👍🏻

My hubby and I went for lunch today and had the £5 Burger and Chips meal. It was so yummy and very filling. Happy smiley and friendly staff topped our visit off! Can’t wait to come and see you again soon!!!

I’ve been here so many times and its me and my fiancé’s favourite place to eat. We came again tonight with 4 others and we all LOVED the food, absolutely stunning steak. 4 of us had the 12oz fillet, 1 24oz fillet and 1 32oz tomahawk steak! All gone and demolished! Keep up the good work falcon steakhouse, your the best steak in the south west by a country mile! �

I have eaten a lot of Steaks both at the Falcon and The Rose & Crown including the 50oz Rump, 32oz T-Bone and 32 oz Tomahawk but the 24oz Fillet I had this evening was absolutely the best Steak I have ever eaten! Wow!! Amazing!!

Heard so many good things and finally tried it for the first time tonight.

Couldn’t decide between a burger or steak so went with the steak and I was not disappointed. Best steak I’ve ever had in a restaurant without a doubt, great service too. We’ll be back for sure!

Brilliant - we went for a celebration dinner with friends and it couldn’t have been a better evening. Lovely greeting/ service from the staff with a friendly atmosphere and quirky building. The food was incredible, and I don’t use the word lightly - perfectly cooked steaks and if you have a sweet tooth the cheesecake was to die for! I can’t recommend The Falcon highly enough, we’ll definitely be back �

Best steak I've had eating out, cooked to perfection, knife glided through it and melted in my mouth good size portions only down side was the banoffee pie had ran out but the strawberry and white chocolate cheese cake made up for it, id recommend any 1 to try this place atleast once in your life, good country pub with great decor worth every penny

Best steak I have had. I must admit I always have my steak well done. It was spot on, not burnt but amazing. The cheesecake was super too. Lovely service too.

Awesome job tonight by everyone! Group of 9 and all of the food came out together with not a single problem. Staff were great, food even better! A right mix of cuts and preferences, each cooked perfectly. The birthday boy even got a new nickname from the barman- chimp I believe?! We will never let Chris forget it. Still not sure how that came about... Thanks all!

Another outstanding meal. We popped into the Falcon for a drink whilst the kids were at Nibley Festival, as it was early we asked the bar manager if they could fit us in. He kindly organised a table for two that we could have for a couple of hours, plenty of time for some cracking steak. As per usual the meat is superb and I struggle to find better, actually avoiding steak elsewhere as I am sure it would pale in comparison to the Falcon. Really friendly service, attentive without being obtrusive. We were lucky, make sure you book well in advance.

Amazing steak....Honestly the best I've ever had. The staff were great- very friendly and well presented. Glad we finally got a table...book well in advance for a weekend.

My only tiny negative point was the pub felt a little bit grubby (windows need a good clean) but it didn't hamper our experience.

Absolutely awesome! I normally don’t give any comments but in this case I have to do it. The restaurant is pretty and the service was good,m. The steak was the best one that I ever had in my life: cook at the perfection, juicy, soft. At the end the bill wasn’t so expensive. I really recommend this place.

steak was brill service was rubbish had to go to bar and wait for service to get a drink by time I returned to table food was cold are waitress seen me twice but ignored me . well I expect It was because they were buzzy only there were only two tables in restaurant with six people max like I said steaks were great £2.75 for three onion rings nearly a pound each !!!! they weren't that good and £3.50 for a portion of chips

Been wanting to try this place for a long time, have to say was slightly disappointed



All the sides were very good



Service was excellent



Pub itself was not what I expected needed a bit of a clean to be honest



Now for the so called best steaks around ....



My daughter and my wife had the 8oz fillet which looked really good, my daughter who is 14 asked for medium and it was medium rare, now for £25:00 I expected it to be spot on



I had the 12oz fillet, very good all round steak but for £30:00 was expecting it to be better



I say this as we eat steak in Gianni’s Italian and I was hoping it would be better but sadly it was not, for £85:00 for 3 steaks and 3 soft drinks I was left a tad disappointed
