The Family Haven

A Gloucester charity. The Family Haven was established in 1988 to help disadvantaged and vulnerable families in Gloucestershire to a brighter future.

We aim to help families /individuals to: -
– work through their difficulties
– develop their potential to care for themselves, their family and the wider community
– strengthen family relationships
– bring sustainable and lasting positive change to their lives.

The Family Haven provides a day centre at 31 Spa Road, Gloucester. The centre is open from 9. 30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday for parents and their children under 5, as well as children with additional needs.

the opportunity and encouragement to make friends and support each other.

We are the only day centre in Gloucester offering this holistic solution to families, where the parents attend the centre whilst their children attend the nursery. On average we serve 80 families a year.
