Wow what a great place. Just went with my family. . . 20 of us for my son in law and grandsons birthday's. Food was freshly cooked and so fresh. Even with so many of us we hardly had to wait any time for our meals. We had 9 noisy children all under 10 with us, but were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, the place was clean, the waitress was friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and they even offered the children ice cream on the house. Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Don't walk past without popping in.

Was insistent on having some Cod and chips on our trip to Hastings and we definitely picked the best place out of the bunch.Worth the price and the service was first class amazing curry sauce too! See you next time :)

My 'go to' fish and chip shop in Hastings when I have my two young boys with me, they do the best fish and chips and good value for a child portion, plus it's just a short walk from the play area on the seafront, we'll be back soon.

I love The Cod Father.The fish and chips are the very best,always.

The staff are always lovely and cheerful.And also it is so clean.A very big thing nowadays with so many places not caring about hygiene,and clean surroundings.

I go every week,how lucky we are to be local to Hastings and to have The Cod Father so near .
