Went to the spa with my gorgeous niece and new hubby couldn't fault the food was amazing will go again didn't wait long for the food either

We went to Weymouth for a short break and happened to drive past so we decided to have evening meal there Saturday night ( 29th July ) enjoyed the food so much we decided to have a carvery in the Sunday ( 30th ) omg how amazing was the carvery ? It was the best I have tasted.. Also the staff was amazing especially 1 young lad with a little beard.. highly recommend visiting to anybody if going that way

We went away to Weymouth and happened to drive past the pub and we noticed someone in the window eating roast. Turned round and went back in.... omg roast heaven!!!!! I can not fault anything.... price, cleanliness, friendly and food was amazing!!!!! Highly recommend.... in fact I took a pic and sent it to. Friends at home to make them hungry ���

This is our local, we go quite often, good selection of ales, wines and spirits, good atmosphere and a varied menu. Friendly staff, several sports screens showing all the top sports events

This is our local and the food is always excellent. Great atmosphere and really feel at home. My only complaint would be the outside sitting area. It needs a good clean up as the seating is looking a bit battered and dirty. I have heard other customers say this too. Inside everything is great. 👍👍

The food and the afters was good and enjoyed it haven’t been here for long time but still enjoyed it.

The Famous Old Spa is my local pub and I'm really glad it is. No wonder it's always busy - there's a great selection of good ales for me, my wife loves a good number of their wines, the food is always hot, fresh, well cooked and served within a reasonable time and there are a good number of TV screens for us sports fans. Most importantly the staff are hard working, happy and friendly. I couldn't hope for a better local pub.

Really loved this establishment!!! Went there for a pint ended up staying for a meal. The beer garden is great especially when you have children as they have play equipment for them to play on. Food was great, cooked well and I think its great that they cater for those with an allergy to gluten (as I do) and when there was a mistake with the dessert they took it back and fixed it right away!! Staff were lovely and welcoming, definitely visit there again!! Thank you for such lovely hospitality xx

Great pub, great food and drink, good atmosphere, what a British pub should be like.

Excellent little place! Called in during a short stay in Weymouth for a meal this evening with my wife, six year old and baby. We had tried to book in advance having spotted the pub on our way in to Weymouth but were unable to get through on the phone (it was clear why when we got here), the place was brimming with people! We chanced it anyway and were greeted by a really helpful member of staff who found us a small table to wait at (which would have done for the three of us eating), but promised to keep a look out for a bigger table once it became available. Once we ordered drinks in, a table was vacated and cleaned and made up for us. Staff couldn't be anything but helpful, really great customer service that you don't see enough of nowadays! The food was fab and good value, would definitely visit again! Well done guys!

We stayed in Weymouth for a few days and just happened on this jem of a place unlucky for us we missed out on the cavery but had hunters chicken instead and it was lovely the staff are very helpful and friendly making it a nice atmosphere for family's with or without children

Popped in for lunchtime meal due to town being too busy, great food, good service, nice pub, busy for a weekday lunchtime

On the 28th Dec 18 of my family all had lunch at The Famous Old Spa. Our table was ready on arrival and the sun was shining. we had a few problems, 1 starter never came out the money was refunded quickly they thought that it was coming out with the mains, The mixed grill was £25 and was very small compared to other places and that was dissapointing for the one that ordered it. All the rest of the food was well recieved and came out hot and all served together. We had to wait a long time for our sweets but they were busy and short staffed. The lad that served us kept us entertained and my lot gave him grief, all in all a pleasant experience we will return again, would like to see more veggy choice

Had a meal here for my daughters birthday on Sunday. Probably not the best day as there was a football match on. Very chaotic and didn’t seem to have enough staff to deal with it. But saying that a girl served me 3 times behind the bar Lucy and she was fabulous, very polite and helpful. Other staff seemed very stressed with the situation but she was amazing. Thank you Lucy x. Food was great as always. The stars definitely go to Lucy x

Good for a family but a bit slow getting service.

The food was lovely but the pub was freezing. Lots of people had their coats on. We mentioned it to the person who served us and they agreed it was too cold.

Just called in on the off chance on Saturday night as the Beefeater could not accommodate us there loss, so on we traveled and came across the Old Spa it was very busy we did not wait many mins to be survived and our meal was very good,we shall return if and when we return that way.

Whilst ordering food the barman was more interested in watching the football, waitress just slung the cutlery in the middle of the table, food came out ordered the pie and was like a cannon ball, tried pouring gravy over the pie and I had to force it out with my knife, the batter on the fish was over cooked and burnt, pizzas was hard just the worst experience I have ever had very very poor food will not be wasting my money there again! shame!
