Very friendly staff, good drinks selection, wholesome food. Rooms are well kept and suit the style of the hotel very well.
Great lovely old coaching inn converted in parts but taste full done.great food menu and craft beers and wines.
The is a well priced hotel! It's one of the oldest pubs in the lakes and has quaint feel about it. Breakfast is extensive with good portions!
Quirky building, stayed the night as a stop-off on our motorcycle tour of the lakes. Lovely food, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms. No complaints, would recommend.
The Farmers Arms has an unusual layout, mainly set out for dining and accommodation. Based on our visit for dinner, the service and food is excellent. There are two Theakston cask beers on tap at the compact bar. Outside there is a beer garden and a huge car park, but be warned that the ramp getting in and out has to be taken at a sedate pace. Inside, the steep steps need to be taken with care too, and mind your head on the way down. None of these points detract from the experience, this is a great pub in a beautiful location, well worth a visit.
Room was nice slight smell of damp but no sign of it must have been from the building being 300 years old. A tad dated but that's the quirky look which was amazing. Vegetarian options wasn't good for me but my partner loved the food
Food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly.. They couldn't do enough to help us... We arrived 45 minutes before the official start time for food to be served... That was no problem.. the chef was in the kitchen and made our meals. Now that is what I call service... thank you.
Very friendly and relaxed, the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The Sunday dinner is fantastic value for money and delicious.
For several years I have taken my family and friends for a meal here... This year I was really disappointed... we were put on a tablend that was to small .. The food was really expensive and not good.. The staff in was not impressed with.. Sorely disappointed ..We went Saturday 11th March
