It's been pretty crazy in here all week and tonight was no exception. It's always great seeing the pub full of happy faces.

While never having been to The Fat Walrus myself I have heard nothing but good things. I met the owner Dave today and can safely say that with him at the helm you will not find a more friendly and welcoming pub around SE London. I will be visiting very soon!

What a lovely addition to New Cross and a treat for Goldsmiths Staff and Students. What a difference to what the pub looked like before. You can tell that a lot has gone in to making the pub a place to chill, laugh, drink and eat. The Salt Beef Bagel was so yummy.

Went to the walrus for a friends birthday - lovely pub, lovely garden, lovely people, dog friendly and the food was amazing! Would definitely go back .. Especially for another bbq burger

Travelled down from Darlington collecting various relatives on way to ultimately meet eldest son who is at the uni. Superb sunday lunch, excellent Yorkshire puddings, delicious deserts. Good solid pints and some excellent single malts. Great setting for our long Sunday lunch visit.

The fat walrus is a notch above the rest... The beatiful barbequey (is that a word?) flavour of the flame grilled burgers matched with a wonderful selection of drinks... Looks, tastes and is; great!!!

The staff were great and such quick service with a smile. The chicken wings and blue cheese sauce so good.

Such a nice place to go. I like to have real food with a drink and this pub ticks all the boxes for me. Well worth a visit!

So, I finally broke my Walrus cherry yesterday, and it was worth the wait. Thankfully, it's nothing like the Haberdasher now. I will be spending some qualitative time over the next year going through everything on the menu, but even the first chip was just class. Awesome Chicken Burger paired with a Sierra Nevada, and I'm definitely going to have to move the schedule around to make it in for a Sunday roast, that picture of the loin is quite alluring.

Really lovely staff and great food. Had a selection of starters and the beef sunday roast. A perfect balance of flavours and beautifully fresh produce. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

I finally have a local again in New Cross! Such a cosy pub with an infinite number of booths and finally reasonable prices-all the beers are under £5 a pint. Will definitely be spending a lot of my time here, good job guys!

Great pub! Fantastic selection of drinks, the food is always very tasty and the staff are a cheerful bunch! Best pub in New Cross by a long shot so definitely worth a visit.

Great Saturday afternoon spent here. Amazing selection of beers and great atmosphere. This place is definitely one to watch. I will be heading back there at the earliest opportunity.

Best pub in New Cross no doubt. Just had the most amazing Sunday Roast there with friends. Music was great. (Blues on a Sunday) Staff are lovely! Drinks were sooo good! A Fat Walrus designed Bloody Mary?! Errr yes! And a great selection on beer and hard liquor.

A pub with a really good vibe and v cool decor. Great wine, beer and the salt beef bagel is yum! I'm planning on returning very soon to work my way through the entire menu ...
