A great place to stay, good food and good accomodation with ample parking. Nice village.

We went with elderly relatives on an 84th birthday lunch, the food was the best I have tasted for a long time, I had the chargrilled Barnsley chop with delicous vegetables delicately enhanced with herbs and a very light addition of a little sauce, wow great flavours. My husband said the pan fried duck was the best he had tasted for years, slightly pink and flaversome. All our plates where empty at the end of the meal 😁always a good sign. The waitresses where friendly helpfull, curtious and knowledgeable about the menu. Thanks Ferguson Fawcett for a lovely afternoon out!

Have been on many occasions,for coffee,lunch,dinner,or a drink with friends,on Every occasion staff,ambiance,and food and drink would be difficult to better.

Full menu not available on Sundays, so unable to have fillet steak and scampi which would have been our first choice. However, the steak pie and rib of beef were fabulous alternatives. Generous portions which unfortunately meant we were too full for dessert!

Very nice room at a very reasonable price. The accommodation is set back from the pub which is nice as you don't have any pub traffic going too and from whilst you are trying to sleep. The rooms are very spacious with all of the usual amenities expected such as free Wi-Fi, coffee and tea facilities and a TV etc. Breakfast is provided as part of the price of the room and is very comprehensive using lots of local fresh ingredients. Overall a very pleasant stay and one that I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

This was my first visit to the Ferguson Fawsitt Arms and oh my gosh it was amazing! Fantastic tasty food on every course, great service, friendly staff and most of all a amazing atmosphere. A great space for family and friends to meet up either for a few cozy drinks or a full on family gathering. Just a great experience all round.

The staff at the ferguson were very friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. I also stayed at the lodge and the rooms were bright, claim and comfortable. Highly recommended

Excellent meal here tonight. Dropped in on the off chance. Very booked up but accommodated us very quickly. I had the bangers and mash, my wife the veggie hot pot. Friendly, great food, reasonable price. Go here is all I can say.

Had a lovely party in a private room with great food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Any issues we had they resolved straight away. Great place. Would recommend!
