Took my daughter and son in law for dinner - the young lady who looked after us over dinner was very friendly, helpful and she helped make the evening a great one - both the food and wines were first class - I recommend this Inn to all! 🥂

Spot on food and service

Nice to see that the new management have pulled up the standards to where they should be. Good food at a reasonable price and nice selection of drinks. New face lift has given it a cosy atmosphere for the winter nights while the garden is a pleasure to sit in during the summer. An all round Pub and Restaurant and a must visit venue.

New ownership has made this place excellent again. We had a fab Sunday Roast. Excellent and highly recommended. Nice to have you back!! �

Me and my family went to this lovely place for my dads birthday and everything was just amazing the food and the Service everything was brilliant definitely recommend people to go this place!

I absolutely loved my night at the Fifield Inn . James was so attentive from advice on wine to patience with our ordering to blankets when it got chilly . Definitely returning . I felt like I was in the south of France xx

Had impromptu dinner at The Fifield last night - chose the Liver and it was delicious - huge but also cooked perfectly. Ordered side of green beans which they were out of but instead offered my Sugar Snap peas - which was again delicious and great addition. Helpful staff . Certainly recommend.

Very good lunch yesterday, service good and polite friendly staff..restaurant setting clean and pleasant. Two small criticisms the soup could have been slightly hotter, and only had semi skimmed milk for teas/ coffees. Would return though.

Stopped in for a glass of wine with my mom while we were out and about on a Friday afternoon around 4pm (we are from Canada �) loved the hometown atmosphere. Glad to see that there was a family area.

Was a little disappointed that none of the staff came to see if we would like anything other than wine.

Brilliant food, nice varied menu but service could have been sharper.

We ate there as a group of 6 food was great however the service was lacking. One of the waiters reached across someone to put a meal down they were also very slow to clear. The online menu is totally different from the restaurant one

Great beer (thoroughly tested) and potentially excellent food, but they didn't manage our large group of 25 very well despite pre-ordering, meaning side dishes arrived late and cold. The only child meal was almost last to arrive, and one pre-ordered gluten-free dish was "missed" and was delivered after the rest of us had finished.



In short, service let down what would have been a lovely meal, but we had a good time anyway.

Very disappointed. We went at lunch time and it all looked great but, the food was poor. The batter on the fish and chips was rock hard, the Caesar salad just had a whole lump of chicken in one piece dumped on top ! The crumble for desert tasted nice but was tiny for £5.50.

Ordered the Chicken Caesar salad this evening, the salad was swimming in Caesar dressing so I could only eat just about half of it, left the Fifield still hungry and had to eat again when I got home! Not overly impressed, it would be helpful to serve the Caesar dressing separately so the customer can decide on the amount of dressing they prefer, I'm dairy intolerant so have a minimal amount of dressing, if I'd eaten all of the salad I would have been extremely ill due to the overload of dressing, the salad was literally swimming in it �

Lovely venue and staff, went some time ago and the food was great, went with my husband a few weeks ago for a Sunday Roast it was terrible. They are very clued up about gluten free as I am coeliac, which is a nice change for me to get something nice to eat but I'm sorry, if that's the type of food they are now serving won't be going again

Good morning everyone. I have to put the claim on the court against Mr Nicholas James Warner , and one of his companies what manage the Fifield Inn Pub (he also runs Rose Crowns , The Olive Three) because: unpaid salary, breaching agreement, breaching law. To be honest , ii still was not able to get Mr Warner contact information from the pub after several requests, emails. I am looking former and actual employees , who have/had similar problems with these businesses . It would be easier sharing information or/and fighting together on the court.
