We visited the Firs in September as a bit of a treat for ourselves only to be shocked to find out we had to pay £7 each for breakfast. Even if you only wanted a bowl of cereal it was still £7.00 each.
We went to bed and were woken up by wet through due to the plastic/ rubber mattress cover. Plus the mattress was very soft but the manager did offer to change it but we had made our mind up that we could not stop there another night.
Good ànd quiet location just a few minutes from Ironbridge. Comfortable beds. Very nice breakfasts. Very friendly hosts.
Had a brilliant time at the Firs. Breakfast was amazing and the welcome couldn't have been better.
Lovely people who make you feel at home and they go that bit further to make your stay an enjoyable one. Will definitely be going back for another visit. Thank you Lesley and Leo. X
Just came back from having a lovely weekend staying in this lovely bed and breakfast the owners are so warm and welcoming the rooms are warm and cozy. The breakfast is one of the best we have had. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
The Firs has a very home away from home feel. The rooms are well appointed and our room had lovely views over the garden and river. In the morning the breakfast was very tasty with cereals juices tea coffee toast and a full English breakfast. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway then the Firs is an ideal place.
Beautiful little place with friendly, welcoming staff. Room was clean, warm and comfortable with stunning views. The little smiling dog was so cute as were the pretty cats. Will definitely stay again.
We were made feel very welcome by Lesley and Leo the owners the house is set in beautiful surroundings. The room was warm clean with every thing we needed and Leo's breakfast was 10 out of ten. I would rate this B&b very highly
