Meet the Maker
Hi I’m Claire, aka The Molten Pixie. I am a glass artist, based in Great Wakering Essex. I specialise in Ashes Forever in Glass. I am passionate about providing an affordable bespoke service for my customers, and I love what I do.
I have been fortunate to work with many people, creating unique one of a kind items. I enjoy hearing their stories about lost loved ones and family pets.
... I use a small amount of ashes, and encase them in glass, swirling them into beads, I am fascinated by the bubbles they create. I then anneal them in my kiln, clean them and set them in silver before returning them to my customer.
You can meet Claire and all our other talented local Artisans on Saturday at The Fishermen’s Chapel between 11am - 4pm.

Meet the Maker
Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Amy.
Originally from Yorkshire I’ve been living in Essex for around 4 years after meeting my, now husband, when living in London.
... I started making personalised wedding and new-born gifts for friends and family. More recently creating embroidery hoop wall hangings for our daughter’s nursery. The response I got was priceless. Knowing something I had loved creating, had brought so much joy to someone, was the most incredible feeling …and so Beloved Threads was born!
Beloved Threads comprises of unique embroidery hoop gifts and home décor, incorporating bold applique designs and individually hand stamped lettering to allow for personalisation.
I’m really excited to be taking part in the Summer Market at the Fisherman’s Chapel and feel honoured to be alongside an incredible selection of local artisan businesses. Really look forward to meeting you all on the day.
Come on down on Saturday between 11am-4pm and meet Amy and all our other talented local artisans!

Hi I’m Bill Martin, I’ve always loved working with wood of various types. Around 18 months ago I decided to take early retirement from my career in the motor industry. I enjoy immensely making different items in my workshop. Having more time on my hands, meant that I could indulge my passion even more, hence the beginning of Woodland Crafts!
... I’m fairly new to the Craft circuit, and it’s been so nice to get very positive responses to the items I craft. I’ve recently been making a range of unusual Wild Bird Feeders which will be available to purchase at the Artisan Market.
Come and meet Bill and our other Artisans on Saturday between 11am-4pm at The Fishermen’s Chapel.
