We love it in Flying Handbags. Very good atmosphere. Other gay bars just as good, but Flying Handbags is our favourite.

This was our first visit to flying handbag and I loved it.The staff were great when we went in though I did ask the guy who was taking the door entry fee to smile he looked so miserable. The Dj Carmen was brilliant and looked stunning, she/ he entertained the audience with her banter brilliantly and encouraged everyone to sing along with the music .The Dj made new people welcome and asked where people were from,her banter was amusing and encouraging.The place was very busy which said a lot ,there were gay and straight couples that were in there which was nice to see .The toilets were dissapointing ,one I went in looked blocked it was just that it needed flushing ,the staff need to check them occasionally for this and they smelt badly. The prices weren't too bad and there was an outdoor smoking area with seats. The music played was good which encouraged people to join in with singing and dancng .The place was open till 4.00am,which was good for those who came in from funny girls when the show had finished.In all it was a brilliant night I'd definately recommend it to anyone and I'd go back -fantastic ’┐Į

So glad that I took the night off to see May and Robert Miller entertain the fabulous audience on Monday 16th July 2018. They were on stage for two and a half hours and were very entertaining, a breath of fresh air. Brilliant atmosphere and a great night out.

Performed for the first time here and I was Sooo nervous.. Was made to feel welcome from start to finish.. Lovely place.. Definitely want to return xxxx

Last time i was in the handbag was the old old one, so my first time in this venue. Yeah it was pride weekend and busy, drinks were good prices, the drag queen DJ was very good and funny. My only thing was the mens toilet floor was very wet and on crutches i felt like bambi on ice lol, but show me a pub/club that dont have wet floors. But 2 great nights here and i cant wait to come back.

I have not words...lol , great after party ...great music ...great atmosphere oh and did I mention the stripper?

Have always wanted to visit this place as iv heard it mentioned a lot and I'm glad I went had a good time unfortunately one of the door staff was a bit surely but that didn't detract from the buzz inside

Had the best afternoon there last Saturday for a double hen do ! Frankie was amazing and had us all in stitches .... so entertaining. Will DEFINATELY be visiting again with the girls from Liverpool xx ­¤ÆĢ­¤īł

Great place were people can go and not worry about getting judged you can all mix together and have a chat and a laugh.The bar staff are so friendly and helpfull we were there friday avo DJ Campy galore was so funny and looked great. And it was ┬Ż2 a pint on fosters what more could you ask for. I would recoment going to anyone we have been going blackpool for years never had a dull time there. xXx

First time to Blackpool..First club me and my girlfriend came to ..awesome atmosphere great music ..top night!

First time for my friend and I, right after funny girls. We met some lovely people and it really didn't matter that we're "straight " we had the best night, fun of fun, laughs and new friends. The only down side from what I can remember is the toilets need some tlc other than that we had a right laugh in a brilliant time!

Good atmosphere and music good but there not to much of a choice for non alcoholic drinks and then toilets are like a paddling pool at times

Dirty toilets. Shabby torn furniture, and what is that smell? Jeyes fluid trying to cover it. Barstaff friendly enough. Wont rush back.

What the hell has happened to this place .. pay to get in a pub ! Then totally extortionate bar prices . .. ┬Ż12.45 for a pint a double gin n tonic ... no atmosphere any more , toilets were a bloody disgrace and stinking TBH .. oh and plastic tumblers .. will i be back ? Definite no no ... total shame used to live this place !!

Soooo...have been going here for years and never had a problem. Went during pride 2018 and the ladies toilets were the worst I've seen anywhere...blood on the door and used tampons on the floor. Out of the 3 cubicles only one was semi decent. When I mentioned it to a friend he told me that there was poo in the urinals and walls in the men's toilets. I mentioned it to a member of bar staff who said she would bring over a manager cause she was there to 'serve drinks' and nothing else. When the manager came over I was told 'Can you see how busy we are'! The pride event is held at the same time every year....am sure you can arrange for the place to be sanitary. Then got thrown out by security after this as we were 'being too much of a nuisance'!

I have visited here many times before and have always had a good night... however it has to be said last night you had the two most ignorant door staff on duty... so much so we will never visit again. Tbh you should sort them out as there are other bars just as good that don't charge two quid to get in or have the ignorant staff that you do on the door. Drinks here are more expensive than elsewhere too so maybe more of your customers should think twice before visiting.
