Wow, what a change it made to speak to someone who wanted to help rather than growling at me down the phone. I needed new parts for bifolds installed at my holiday home in the Isle of Wight and Linda in customer services couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend you to use this Company for both its product and service.

They have been amazing from start to finish. We brought our doors prior to the extension being finished, and we then lost our builder. They have continued to support us by keeping hold of the doors in our pursuit of another builder and then through winter. The faulty locking bolt was fixed on my door on Monday, 15 May, by Ash, and I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with Ash's careful work, attention to detail and customer service skills.



He took great care in identifying the problem caused and replacing the part, then adjusting the door so the problem would not occur again and then replacing a damaged gasket - all this with care so as not to scratch the paintwork.



He was attentive and patient with all the questions I was asking him about the problem - a thoroughly delightful young man.



I would like you to pass my comments on to Ash's manager, and, of course, to Ash himself.



My neighbour will be installing folding doors similar to mine as part of his new extension and I have recommended your company to him - during his visit Ash also measured up for this.

My wife and I had 5m of folding doors fitted about 10 years ago and were in much need of repair. I was reluctant to pay £250 plus VAT for a service. Having had the work done it was worth every penny. Many thanks to Chris and Matt who completely dismantled the doors refitting the glass and changing parts that needed replacing. Like another review I've read its like having a new set of doors Thanks guys and thanks to Linda and Janet in customer services who were always helpful and very pleasant to deal with.

More than a year after installation of new doors, an engineer came out to re-adjust them after our extension settled and caused some alignment issues. Whilst there he serviced some older doors that the builder had had to bodge during the build. Great service and quality work.

Leon and (Chelsea) completed a service of our 4.5m set of sliding doors that were fitted by a conservatory company 6 yrs ago, i was pleased with them then even though they were difficult to use the quality was present. Since the service they are like a different set of doors...wish i had had FDS fit them in the first place. Best £250+VAT i have sent in a long time. Well done Guys, thank you

I love our doors! They are definitely one of the best thing I've ever bought! Totally worth the money! Also I think the aftercare is something you don't necessarily think about when you are buying doors but actually you need to know the customer service after you bought the doors is amazing. Linda and Alistair in customer services really went the extra mile for me when I lost my keys! they were so friendly and really helped me out of a hole! They put a smile on my face all weekend!

I have just had a full service on my aluminium timber folding sliding doors, painted blue on the outside, of which photos appear on your website and on the side of your vans! As these are fitted at the front of a beach facing holiday property, Ocean Blue in Porthleven, Cornwall, these doors get the full onslaught of the winter storms and high winds blowing off the sea and the constant blast of salt air. Add to that the fact that different holidaymakers have been folding them back most weeks of the year - since 2008 - it is an incredible tribute to the quality of these doors that they have survived well and still look so good. We don't even need to have them repainted on the outside yet.

Now, thanks to the excellent service given by Paul Marshall last week, they have new rollers, brushes, seals, and lots of marine grease. They are as good as new and I can't praise your company, and Paul, highly enough. Thank you, Muriel Williams

I couldn't be happier with the service that I have received from The Folding Sliding Doors Company - from start to finish they have been superb - my sales contact was patient and not pushy, the installation by Craig and Ash was superb and the doors themselves are top notch. A year later I have had a couple of minor settling issues with the doors - the company immediately sent Craig and Ash over who fixed the minor issues without quibble. I don't normally review in this way, but I have been so happy with this company that it felt only fair to say so!

I bought a set of hardwood FSD (2+3) from you nearly 10 years ago; they made our extension look fabulous and have always been a real plus to our house. FSD at the time didn't fit them ‘down south’ so I had to get a builder to do it, and he was nervous about doing it because he had never installed anything like that before.



10 years downtrack they still look pretty good. However we’ve now moved to Devon but we still own but rent out our previous home on the Surrey / Hampshire border. Tenants don’t look after things as owners do, some challenges were happening to the FSD’s and I was having some trouble doing more serious maintenance on our FSD and which was really beyond my expertise and I was anxious that I was going to end up with a very big bill when one day a tenant really mucked the doors up through sticking and not being careful.



I was delighted therefore to get a mailshot out of the blue, offering me a £250 service. Not only did I get it at the right time, but it also helped reassure me.



Like another reviewer I was at first a bit daunted by the £250+VAT service cost; but even before it was carried out, I knew it was going to be, and it was, great value for money.



The reason for this review is many fold:

I want to praise (nay, highly praise) your customer service team, and they unlike many other companies DO actually provide real and high level customer service. I can’t tell you how good they have been.



Linda has been amazing and sooooooooo helpful, ably backed up by Janet. I wanted a difficult solution and I was anxious that I had to be at my old home on the day of the fix, and as I live nearly 200 miles from my old home and the ‘doors’, thus the engineers had to be there to a pretty precise timescale as I had a 4h journey to do. Linda and Janet made it happen for me. Top rate. A big thanks is due.



The engineers, brothers Kevin & Paul, just knew what to do; they scrutinised and looked, didn’t suck their teeth and didn’t go ‘’tsk tsk, no can do’’ - they had real ‘can do attitude’’. Another thanks to them too. I again felt really confident and reassured.



Did we have a few hiccups on the way - a few. The booking and scheduling process is a bit clunky and the texts TELLING (not asking) me when the engineers would arrive, and not when I requested, was not great, but these are minor issues.



What I really like about FSD is you are an organisation with traditional values of having a great product with staff that really believe in that product, they care, and they care about me as a customer to ensure that product is kept in the very best condition thus giving long term customer satisfaction and enjoyment of that superb product. I loved that and you don’t get that commitment often nowadays.



Linda and Janet have been great to me and are real assets to you and your organisation. Paul & Kevin clearly know what they are doing, and sorry that I don’t know his name but your switchboard guy is also great too. He too has a ‘can do’ attitude, he apologises if he can’t transfer the call right away and he doesn't forget you’re on the line.



Don’t change too much because what you do, and what your people do for you, and to your customers is great. Thanks too for making such a great product.

Fantastic service from my 1st conversation with Sally, talking through our requirements, providing a quote, albeit not the cheapest she talked me through the reasons for their price and encouraged me to visit their facility and compare their product with cheaper quotes, the differences where clear to see and in my opinion worth the difference. Next onto Linda and the customer service team, after a number of conversations about delivery and installation they where able to work around our time schedule. The driver rang on the delivery day to give us a rough ETA and the installation team turned up on time, fitted and cleared up all within a couple of hours.

Overall a great service and a great finished product

Fantastic service from FSD - the teams from customer services, deliveries and fitting were uniformly excellent to deal with. We received a brilliant deal on replacing our old doors with an up to date aluminium design which is so much lighter and easier to use. Thank you very much!

4 Years on I had some minor repairs to be carried out to the doors - the customer service I received from FSDC was great. From the initial telephone call to the service appointment (2 days after the call!), and the guys doing the repair.



Really nice to experience hassle free great customer service in this day and age!

Great upfront service, and overall doors are well made but communication issues throughout whereby they failed to inform me on some key matters.

Also measured and installed the doors below the very obvious damp proof course!!

By all means use them but read the T&C’s very carefully and check check and check again!!!
