I can’t quite believe I’m writing this ...........
We’ve taken the very hard decision to temporarily close The Forge Farm Shop. The health and well-being of both staff and customers is of the upmost importance to us. Therefore, given the current situation, we feel we have a social and moral obligation to close our doors for the time being. We are, after all not an essential shop.
We will open tomorrow (Monday 23rd) at 8 am to sell what we can as we have a quantity of fresh s...tock, but when it’s gone it’s gone and our doors will close at 2 pm until further notice. We have all the items mentioned below and request that you observe our “1 in, 1 out” policy to protect both yourselves and staff.
We’ve also got lots of traybakes and a few cakes freshly made which we will offer at reduced prices - if stored in a tin they will last a good week or so of your self isolation.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to thank all our wonderful customers for their continued support at this challenging time. We intend to keep going for as long as we are allowed to do, to help us through we are changing our opening times slightly.
From Monday, last orders will be 2.00pm to enable us to close by 3.00pm, Monday-Friday, Saturday’s last orders will be 1.00pm, closing at 2.00pm. We will continue to open at 8.00am.
... We are offering free delivery from Monday of anything we stock (see image below) to those of you self isolating, orders before 11 am for delivery after 2.30pm please. We can arrange no contact delivery but unfortunately we are unable to take card payments over the phone at the moment (we are trying to sort this), so payment would need to be by BACS, cheque or cash on delivery). Please support all our small businesses through these unprecedented times 💕

With the Coronavirus situation continuing to evolve, we want to reassure our lovely customers that we are closely monitoring the Government and public health updates and until we are otherwise advised, we will continue to remain open.
There may not be the usual extensive selection in the salad bar for your cold sandwiches and salad boxes as we are experiencing some difficulty in obtaining some products/ingredients but we will try to source alternatives.
The safety and well b...eing of customers and staff are top priority so we have ramped up our already vigorous hygiene routines. We have, understandably, experienced a drop in custom over the last few days so may close a little earlier than normal in the next few weeks.
Your custom means a lot to us and we would like to offer free delivery on cold items within the Ripon area whilst this pandemic is amongst us. Don’t forget we don’t just sell sandwiches, salad boxes, cakes and pies but also BREAD, EGGS, MILK, SAUSAGES, BACON, CHEESE, TEA, COFFEE, BISCUITS, GRANOLA, JAMS, CHUTNEYS, CURRY SAUCES, POTATOES and SALAD PRODUCE.
TELEPHONE ORDERS WELCOME (before 11 am if possible), and delivery will be after 2.30pm. Items can be left on a door step, no contact necessary.
