Lovely food and fantastic friendly service - a really lovely meal enjoyed by the five of us. We also like the fact that they serve carafes of wine, a definite winner in our book!

Great food and always a lovely welcome. We have been going to the fort for years and years and never lets us down.

First time here last night, older guy who greeted us doesn’t have great customer service little grumpy looking I asked for a glass of Merlot and his reply was is that red or white! All other staff were very friendly and we were shown to our table pretty quickly as we had not booked. The restaurant was very busy at 6.30 and continued to be all the time we were there.

The food was delicious and served in a timely manner not rushed price was very good too. Will defo come back hopefully the man mentioned earlier will read this and smile �

Always worth a visit. Polite friendly staff and consistent quality food, reasonably priced. One thing they should review are the bowls of nibbles, I don't want to be eating from a communal bowl. Reduce the size and hand to each customer. Too many unhygienic fingers in a bowl on a waiting area table.
