Would like to say a big Thank you to Moz & Tracey Tombs Landlord & Landlady of the Foundry Arms Poole. They & All there Regulars raised £562.80 for Geoff Trott’s Family. Many of the regulars did not know Geoff which makes it such an-outstanding Big Hearted effort ... I am truly Humbled.

The Money was given to “Whippet” Clark who organised Geoff’s Funeral which was a Great Success.

Went to the foundry for the first time on Friday and they had the madness tribute band. It was a good night and a great atmosphere. Really busy definately be going back

User

Went in for a cooked breakfast on a recommendation. We weren't disappointed. We went in when it had only just opened and it was all very clean and smelt nice. Good start.

The landlord was very friendly and helpful, directing us to a window seat and taking our order.

We ordered the full English, with coffee.

The coffee arrived in a nice big mug, not one of those tiny cup and saucer things you get in a lot of cafés

When the food arrived it was a nice clean looking breakfast. And huge! It had everything you'd want on a cooked breakfast and a bit more. Plus toast!

We asked the landlady if she had a bit of jam or something to go with the toast. She was so nice and helpful and offered us some homemade orange and whiskey marmalade, which was delicious and round off a very enjoyable breakfast experience.

I would wholly recommend here for a great value cooked breakfast. It's the best one We've had by far, and we will be trying it for a Sunday lunch next.

Over the last weekend the reunion of '80 Troop' after 45 years was hosted by Moz and Tracy at the Foundry. Thank you. We couldn't have chaosen a better venue. The generous buffet was great and soaked up some of the alcohol! The girls serving us were fantastic, welcoming and very cheerful. We were welcomed by the regular customers and a great bit of banter ensued. Thanks again and we will definitely be back!

Just want to thank Moz and Tracey for your warm welcome today. Going into busy places is always daunting when using a wheelchair however everyone at The Foundry was extremely friendly and helpful. I've lived in Poole all my life. Recently, socialising in Poole has become difficult due to the run down pubs and hightstreet. Yet this pub has become the "hub" of the town and community. Friendly, welcoming, safe environment to enjoy an evening out with friends. Fabulous landlady and Lord. I look forward to returning to this wonderful little gem, to relax and have fun. Thank you for all you do to keep this pub alive!!
