We go here frequently as itвҖҷs a half way point to meet family. We always have lovely staff serving us. Granted the food isnвҖҷt always great but the staff make up for that. However last night we had a lady named Emma. Emma you are a super star! You were amazing with my children and couldnвҖҷt do enough for us. So thank you so much. I hope your there next time we come.x

Really impressed with the meal & service tonight, the ribeye steak and garlic bread pizza were both amazing. It's a shame people are being put off with the lack of 2 for 1 offer because I found the prices very reasonable.

My husband and I were here last night and were served by a wonderful waitress called Abi. She was absolutely amazing!! Very attentive, easy to talk too and got to know us which was lovely. The food was amazing too пҝҪ

As Always a great meal - pizzas are homemade to order by an Italian chef! Customer service lovely as always and great meeting place - especially for long chats as they have free refills on soft drinks..

We arrived at 520. Ordered pizza garlic bread to start. Which was Moorish.

Had a long wait for main. Had to ask where it was, But waitresse was apologetic. I had sirloin steak with brie and bacon. Medium rare. And done to perfection. Tasty and so soft n juicy. Worth the wait. Husband has steak and Cajun chicken. He loved his too. Two drinks .garlic pizza bread to start and Two mains with a Facebook 25%discount deal for food over ВЈ20 came to ВЈ21. Can't com0lain about that at all.

Nice pub and staff - shame they never/rarely do full pints - you get fed up of asking

Food here is great, great waitresses and waiters. The only disappointing part is that the old Rosie hasnвҖҷt been on draft the last 2 times weвҖҷve been here.

I went with my wife at 1.15pm Friday lunch time. it was ok. I ordered the 10oz rump steak medium, this is the 2nd time that we have gone to the fox since it had it's revamp. I prefer the way we actually get seated where as before we always had to find a table ourselves, the food was ok at best ild say, I asked for my steak medium but it came out more rare, it had quite a bit of fat around it. my chips were overdone and generally I would say the portion sizes are deffinately smaller than they used to be. overall I thought the bill was more money then what the food was worth. I very much doubt I would want to go back again.

Got seated quickly. Went to the bar for some drinks found a spider in the bottom of the glass bottle they pour the draught prosecco into for you to take to your table.

Took ages for our starters to come out and even longer for the mains, desert came out at a more reasonable time.

Food was ok but about what you'd expect for the money..

First time IвҖҷd been since it has been renovated/refurbished. Gluten free menu easily available with a good choice of dishes. Waitress was very helpful, especially when I had to send my steak back for being too pink (for my liking, anyway). Replacement provided quickly and 20% taken off the bill. Good service in that respect. I do think they would benefit from a booking system. They donвҖҷt reserve tables so waiting times are a bit of an unknown. We were a party of 12 and got lucky as another large party weвҖҷre leaving as we arrived, but we still had another 30min wait whilst they rejigged tables, etc. . Think they would save themselves a lot of stress if these knew that large parties were coming and could plan in advance. Also, less stroppy customers as a result, I would imagine!

We arrived at 8pm and were sat at a table and food ordered not long after. Our starter arrived really fast and was cleared swiftly after eating. We then waited until 9.45pm befor asking where our main was because the pizza bar was off and it was practically empty. When the food arrived the kids chicken and waffles were over fried and beans were cold. My friends pizza was very over done with the crust almost burnt and my chicken burger and chips were over fried too. When we mentioned to the waitress about the wait she said it was very busy that night which is a very poor excuse. I did not comment when we were there as simply wanted to leave as it was getting late. I am a local and was surprised at the poor kitchen performance last night. A great shame.

Not like it used to be since they dropped the two for one, very noticeable when you drive into an almost empty car park on a Sunday lunch time!

ItвҖҷs a shame the 2 for 1 has gone , ordered fish and chips and when it arrived I thought it was a childвҖҷs portion and I paid ВЈ8 . So portion sizes are smaller and IвҖҷm paying more, sorry guys lost a customer there wonвҖҷt be going back

I had a meal here on Saturday night. I had a chicken tikka curry and the sauce came out runny their wasnвҖҷt many bits of chicken in with my curry it looked like almost like a ready meal and just chucked on my plate..





The service was slow there was nobody else on the floor but one lady and that was it. Need too get more staff too help out on the floor



I used too love coming here but now I highly wouldnвҖҷt recommend it too my friends or family...

My family and I have been eating here for year but after todays experience I will never eat here again. My daughter and I came here today to take advantage of the ВЈ25 steak deal with a bottle of wine, we both ordered the fillet steaks, we commented to the waitress on how it was a good deal as since they no longer do the 2 for 1 meals there prices have gone up so much that we don't come here because of it, but seeing how that this deal was good as before 2 fillets steaks cost ВЈ25 without the wine, at no point did the waitress say that it would cost extra to have fillet steak nor did it say anything on the menu about it being extra. But when the bill came we were charged ВЈ31 the waitress seen me checking it came over and said "it's right ain't it" I said "No " why have we been charged ВЈ31 the deal says ВЈ25, she then said I told you its an upgrade for fillet steak, me and my daughter both said "No you never " we even pointed out on the menu that no where does it say that you have to pay more, it's just says 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for ВЈ25. She then said she'll get her manager, so I said you do that and she got assy with me. The manager came over and said that the waitress said that she explained that it would be extra when we placed the order, We told him that she never and neither does it say on the menu, so I said that I am refusing to pay. He then told me that if I refuse he would call the police and implied that I had also vurblely assaulted his member of staff, I think trying to scare me in to paying. I told him I would wait for the police to get here if he wishes to go down that route. Then they kept us waiting and waiting so I got on to my phone and started to call the police myself at which point the manager came over and said he would charge us the correct amount and we paid and left. So never again will we be coming to this place. Good luck with staying open in this is how your guna treat people.

If I could give 0 i would! We came last night for my boys birthday treat, the kids ordered starters. The вҖҳcheesy nachosвҖқ came out as a handful of crisps with a bit of grated cheese on, we had to ask for the salsa to which the staff member said вҖңoh, it doesnвҖҷt always come with itвҖқ why on earth put it in the menu!? When it finally came it was far too spicy for children. After being there for an hour, and the kids had long finished their starters, no mains were with us even though we had ordered a good 45 minutes ago. When I asked the staff member вҖңservingвҖқ us, all I got was attitude and вҖңthe kids had starters yea? Well the kitchen havenвҖҷt played your mains up yet.вҖқ When asked if she could just find out how long we would be waited she just repeated вҖңthe kids had starters yea?вҖқ I just walked off from her in the end! When (a good 25 minutes later!!!) our food finally arrived, my partners ribs were swimming in grease, the rocket had been left off my sister in laws pizza (again, why have it on the menu then!?!?) and the girls вҖңfajitasвҖқ had no sign of a sauce with them! I am fuming that you ruined my boys birthday meal and will be putting in a complaint today. Every other staff member other than the one who вҖңservedвҖқ us was polite and friendly, evidently ours just couldnвҖҷt be bothered

Had Lunch today, ordered Sunday lunch for 3 of us, waited over half an hour had to ask waitress when food would arrive.Eventually arrived 2 Roast Beefs, 1 Turkey roast ,side of cauliflower cheese.Roast beef was so tough had to ask for steak knifes to cut through it,Turkey dry curled up at edges, Yorkshire pudding so hard couldn't cut through it,cauliflower cheese tasteless and watery. Waitress asked how our meals where, we said worst Roast we've ever had, spoke to manager only paid for the 2 for one meal 3rd meal and cauliflower cheese taken off of bill. Won't be going back to the Fox in a hurry very poor.
