We had Sunday lunch & there were four of us. Food was delicious, hearty portions, & service & staff prompt, friendly, & welcoming. Highly recommended - although think this is a given considering how busy it was ! �

Visited this establishment today for our daughters birthday ... and I must say that if it was Carlsberg, it would probably be one of the best pub Sunday lunches I've ever had ... great atmosphere, excellent food, friendly staff, an all round relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.

The food is fab and the staff are even more fab. The Pie of the Week was amazing. Mint Chocolate tart was delicious - although it was too much for me to finish the pine nut brittle was amazingly tasty

Thank you for an excellent evening. We enjoyed the new menu �we had the mackerel starter and the duck scotch egg yummy runny yolk . Swordfish stew and halibut mains the halibut is a real celebration dish incredible. The ice cream ��of course cheeseboard and all washed down with local beer and gingerbeer for the driver . Loved it all

Had a lovely Saturday lunch with family. A cosy country pub with an excellent menu and choices. Will definatly be revisiting in the summer months.

Had a fantastic Easter Sunday lunch here and the food was delicious as was the wine 🍷 Portion sizes are huge and you would never go hungry with this delicious menu 😊👍 looking forward to eat there again soon 🥂😊

During past few months we have had Sunday lunch here on couple of occasions. Amazing sums up the food and customer service. In the early Eve's on summer day it is lovely to sit outside on the green. Great place. Well done to manager and staff.

Came here for lunch today to celebrate our twin daughters birthday. Brilliant customer service which included making our fussy eater son a bacon sandwich and surprising the birthday girls with a sparkler dessert and everyone singing happy birthday! Highly recommend

As always the Fox and Duck is a pleasure to visit. Great food, lively and the service was amazing considering how busy it was. Plus my husband left his mobile on the table by mistake and it was found by a member of staff who made the effort to contact us so we could get it back. Many thanks.

A fabulous birthday dinner tonight. One of the best meals I have had here down to the great menu, beef croquette starter and trio of venison main. I love winter menus and this has proved an amazing choice well done all. X

The food was absoloutly lovely the best meal iv had in a long time!!! But deserts wasnt much variety and wasnt over keen think there needs to be more variety have more traditional puddings aswell as fancy...but i could not fault the service and the main meal!!! Would highly reccommend!!!!
