User

We love going to our local, the staff and management are fantastic, very friendly and polite.

User

My 1st time here as Iam a ‘pub grub’ snob ... but the food was amazing and the service! And the gin selection! We Will be returning again soon ,,

User

Just had our first meal here and it certainly won't be our last. Beautiful food at very reasonable prices and Leighanne, the young lady who carried out our table service, was one of the most genuinely friendly people we have ever come across. We will be back very soon

User

Husband won a competition on Facebook for free brunch for four! And wow! The chorizo and egg on a breakfast muffin is really nice! Well worth the money. The other 3 meals looked really nice and well presented! The staff were really nice. Shall definitely be returning for another brunch!

User

User

User

Booked a table for 17 ppl at the end of April for my daughter's 18th. Everything was perfect food all came out together so there was no long gaps in ppl eating to waiting. Food is amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Thank you very much foxglove

User

Been in total 5 times now over the past 2 years and I always say it’s the best in Mansfield for quality of service and food. It does have to be a treat though as pricey but I 100% agree with the fact, ‘you get what you pay for’ and this place is great quality food for the price. Never had a bad meal, it’s such a lovely warm welcoming pub to eat, staff are always welcoming and friendly. Fast service today and really enjoyed our time out for dinner with my Nan, she was super impressed which sometimes she can be hard to do so! She said more than once she’s really enjoyed going out today, good food makes good moods and happy families Thank you for a lovely dinner this Sunday

User

We went as a group of 4 at lunch for a quick drink on Monday Nov 27th. New Refurbish is really nice. More modern and open. Menu has altered a bit for the better. Decided to stay for a quick bite. Service is excellent and really friendly. The flatbreads are great and I love the little bottle of basil oil. Definitely be back. Good choice of beers too. I love that you serve your San Miguel in proper half pint glasses. So dinky!

User

Had a Sunday roast my Grandson had a kids meal we both enjoyed our meal then shared a lovely sweet. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Definitely be back

User

We went for a birthday meal and we could fault the food or the service, there were 16 of us and all the meals came together. The waitress was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

User

Nice pub, pitty food not as nice as it looks on menu. Overpriced meal nice nothing special. Had the 3 starters for £8.25 but they are not full size starters, doesnt say that. Think i will stick to Golden Eagle. Get the cheapest meal free and refillable soft drinks, never had a bad meal there at all.

User

I go in the Foxglove maybe 2 or 3 times a month. I either have steak or chicken. The steak is nearly always beautifully cooked. I had steak and chicken the other day. It was more of a presentation issue than anything. Instead of a salad garnish there were a few wilted leaves stuck on the top. It would be much better with either garden peas or a small side salad. Also the chips aren't as nice as they used to be. They taste quite cheap and are quite thin. I realise this isn't the fault of the pub as I know they can only order the spec that's set by the company but would like them to get feedback. Staff were lovely that served me

User

Food was great so there was no issues there, just a shame that right from entering the restaurant the service was slow and the staff seemed to lack interest in the job. No greeting at service desk, had to find own menus and from receiving starter to having our mains it was around twenty minutes before the starter plates got cleared up. Shame, because before the refurb etc the service was class with attentive staff. I don’t know what happend ?

User

When we entered the foxglove the lady who came to us had i cant be bothered attiued didnt smile didnt say hello all she said was have you booked wished we had walked away there and then waited 3/4 to get any serves i think there was 2staff which was very cheerful and that was behind the bar food ok not alot of choice would not rush back

User

Myself, my mum,and grandaughter went to the foxglove today, and must say we were very dissapointed. Staff were nice and polite but the food was not up to the usual high standard. Very dissapointing, will maybe need to find another local

User

Food was alright probably not worth the money . Women who severd me at the bar didn't have a clue and I was stood there 10 minutes to actually order my food, we then wait ed almost and hour for the food, people who came in way after us got their food before us. When we had finished we were waiting 10 minutes again for our plates to be taken away as we need to wait for our pudding as we were waiting 3 waitresses were stood talking and laughing with each other clearly not bothered about clearing table, when they did come over they decided to start wiping other tables where no one was. They eventually came over and took our plates away, then waited another 15 minutes for a kids pudding. Altogether we were in the pub over 2 hours which is ridiculous, been in here before and enjoyed the food, won't be coming back, will stick to kings mill farm

User

1st and last visit .

Typical microwave pub grub

. And oven chips. More like a Wetherspoons. No staff to provide menu . Plenty standing about laughing and joking at end of bar though.. Nothing like it's cracked up to be . Go along way to beat .

And why Not , in mans.
