Who knew every day junk could be so productive! Encouraged open ended questions, independent thinking, working together with peers to solve challenges and achieve new things, practicing our balancing, hand eye co-ordination as well as our fine and gross motor skills! Our Rising stars have been using their brains lots today! ūü§©

We've had a re-design of our Mud kitchen this weekend! Adding some seating and a Table for the children to sit round, enjoying their mud pies & woodland treats they have made with all things natural in our garden, and of course, just a good old chat together ‚Ķ. It looks like it went down well with our little ones today ūüėÄ

Our Rising Stars enjoyed a very special Christmas treat this morning, watching Elf and enjoying some yummy popcorn ūüėÄūüćŅ

ūüĆü Can you help? ..... we are working on some outdoor projects for our garden! We are looking for some old children‚Äôs wellies to use as planters and some off cuts of guttering to make our own water wall! If you can help in anyway, or know someone who can please let us know ūüėÉ

ūü§∂ūüéÖūüéĀ We seem to have had many little helpers at The Friendly Fish this week, there's been present wrapping going on, snow men building, and showing off our Christmas fire place which was all hand made by our crafty Rising stars! We hope you have all started your Christmas shopping... and if you need help wrapping we know just the little ones to helpūüėúūüėÜ

We have been choosing our Christmas list today and writing our Letter to Santa. The north pole is a long way away but we are hoping the stormy wind helps it arrive safely ūüďģūüﮂúŹÔłŹūüéÖ

Painting, getting messy, playing outdoors, story times, fishing, cutting our own fruits, building.... oh and did we mention getting messy ūüėĀ

The Rising Stars made their own teas this week, they especially enjoyed making their own Pizzas! ūüėčūüćēūüćēūüćē

Thank you to everyone who donated, dressed up and brought yummy cakes at our bake sales! Together we raised ¬£83.60 for this fabulous charity ūüėÉūü•į

Well after a crazy start to the week, we were soon busy again with wonderful activities! We have been learning about Remembrance Day, making our own Poppies, and playing with sensory Poppy rice! We have been busy making our own fireworks and our Rising Stars have been learning about Diwali, designing their own Rangoli patterns, and making their own Diwali Diyas!

From disaster & devastation to nearly as good as new in just over 48 hours! Thank you to all the trades who helped, the fire brigade and to all the staff for offers of help, hours of scrubbing and chocolate supplies to keep us going, and of course to our parents who have been so understanding and have sent some lovely messages of encouragement along the way! ūüĆüūüź†
