It is nearly time for our Christmas Movie Nights watching The Polar Express. We still have tickets available for Wednesday 19th 4-7pm and Thursday 20th December 4-7pm. Tickets are ┬Ż5 per child and includes hot chocolate and marshmallows and a bag of popcorn whilst watching the movie and a gift to take home. Tickets are available from behind the bar.

We come here every Tuesday for the quizz and good cheap food. We enjoyed the speed quiz but it's not as good as paper. We miss the music rounds, the consolation prizes and rock and roll bingo!

Just had a beautiful meal, and no complaints at all, thank you.

Food was good

We went on a quiet Sunday night, so it wasn't very busy. Service was quick, food was lovely...Hunters Chicken, Pepperjack steak burger, and scampi. Portion sizes were just right, although we did manage to share a chocolate sundae between the three of us too for dessert’┐Į. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My only criticism would be the ladies toilets...out of three cubicles only one had a lock and they would benefit from a bit of TLC

just got home from the pub, 11'oclock an kids still running around the pub. very dissapointed cant relax, saturday night is for adults

Went there tonight with family for a meal ..we ordered and was told it would be around 30 minutes .. fair enough. . An hour later still waiting .. when it came it was horrible .. All the chips were barly warm , peas were cold , scampi was the only thing hot on mine ..my dad ordered all day breakfast when that arrived it was horrendous ...the sausages were burnt black and I mean black ..The baked beans were congealed and there was no presentation at all .. we were waited on by the manager himself and I saw the look on his face when he brought out our food.. he knew they weren't satisfactory .. we told him we were not accepting the meals and we were disgusted ...we asked for a full refund which he gave us without hesitation ..he said he would have words with the chef .. he needs more than words .. if I was boss it would be P45 .No reasonable Chef would allow meals to leave a kitchen like that.We of course wont be going there again ...vile ! Be warned

Well we won't be coming back thats for sure we came for our anniversary meal we ordered sirloin steak I asked for mine well done and hubby asked for medium his came out rare and thin so sent it back got another one and that was so tough hubby couldn't chew it plus the poor lady on the next table her steak came out black sorry but no respectable chef would send out what he did tonight feel very disappointed and it ruined our very rare anniversary meal

This is our local and have been coming for years - was disgusted by it today! Had to wait an hour for food even though it wasn't that busy. The toilets are worse than public loos in the town centre! The whole place is shabby and dirty, and we couldn't find a clean knife and fork! Very disappointing!
