Won tickets for last night's show so that was a great start to my Sunday night and as ever the frog gave me a great night of comedy. So ok Sunday night was a bit quiet however still funny and a fantastic homely feeling venue.

Went here for my works Xmas do last night, food was fab, drinks a fair price, great atmosphere and the acts were fab!! Definitely recommend!!!!

Went for the wrestling its was a great show. Venue good for disabled as I'm in a wheelchair. Could do with selling tea as we don't drink alcohol would of loved a brew last night !

We went on Saturday for a friends birthday, although the middle act wasn't our cup of tea the evening on a whole was great! Staff are lovely and we particularly enjoyed 'what drink roulette' with Liam the bar man!!

We went for my hen do last weekend, it was a great evening! All the comedians were funny, food was good and we enjoyed the disco afterwards. DJ was accommodating and played our requests. Would recommend it.

We can’t here on a Monday night for a Christmas do (in February) and I’ve never laughed so hard - I think I grew a sick pac, goodbye gym membership!! Honestly though our tickets were booked in advance and tables reserved ready for us. The staff were pleasant and the compare was great getting the audience involved!! I’ll need to come back next time in order to freshen up my tummy or should I say boozy tummy!!

Really great place to go! We went on a Monday night for beat the frog and I haven't had that much fun in years, we went pretty late and didn't book so we had to stand as it was full but it was worth it!! Can't wait to go back

Quite a lot of us went for stag do last night and loved all 3 acts. The last 2 though were brilliant and exactly my sense of humour. The compare between the acts was also very good at interacting with people. All in all we had a right laugh and would definitely go again!

Monday nights are fantastic, cheap as chips man.3 quid on door , great atmosphere, if your in need of a good laugh then this is were its happening.

Lucha Forever at the Frog & Bucket was a new and exciting experience. Having seen comedy there before, and wrestling in larger venues many times, I was a bit concerned how the fans and the ring would fit in. But it worked. It was so cosy and intimate but with all the big names on the scene today, a really good show. The only downside was that there were only three barstaff on, and they did their best, but I think a fourth was needed. Plus the post mix on the lemonade ran out and when I went to get a replacement I was offered Pepsi or diet Pepsi instead, as they were too busy to change the syrup over...apart from that it was a lovely night.

It was my and other Half's first time here we both love comedy and it was a birthday treat for him we both throughly enjoyed it and Will be back

Had a great evening here with work colleagues, the compère was excellent and the 2 stand up comedians were superb and fresh, all round enjoyable event, I would recommend

Had a fantastic night on Saturday and the food ÔŅĹ was great too.

Great venue. Laughing cows is extraordinarily funny, entertaining and enlightening. One of the best nights out in Manchester

Great night out, good food, great comedy, brilliant. Drinks were a bit pricey but it is Manchester and they were good quality.

Great compare, possibly should be on some sort of register or list (might be).



Great line up - Irish accent being something that makes people laugh, even if you're not firing out punch lines, don't worry about it. Kiwi - funny guy bru... understands Wigan. Ex-Teacher, i.e. shit Jeff Goldblum, best act of the night. Coped with heckles well and had a harsh yet relatable set. Could also do with being on a register, I suspect.



Thanks for the good service, putting up with noisy stags and for the surprising, yet welcome S Club 7 disco, at the end.

Great atmosphere and good stand up! First time coming after friends invited me, as they go all the time! Would definitely go again!

Fantastic venue to see some the best comedians in a cosy intimate setting. Serves great pizzas and burgers too to make for a great night! San Miguel’s on draught and bottled Hobgoblin so me and my fella are both happy.. Top tunes played before and in between laughter times.. xx

Excellent night out for me and my daughter... first time last night, it was a Wowcher deal so a real bargain including pizza and two drinks, but would definitely pay full price and go again. Great atmosphere and acts... the last guy, Danny Mcloughlin was so funny I couldn't see through my tears! ÔŅĹ

Came here on Friday for a stag do and was absolutly brilliant all acts were quality and staff including the manager were excellent!!

Brilliant night. Loved beat the frog. All were deserved winners, but most enjoyed Josh's performance, wanted him to go on for longer. Have recommended the place to friends already. Will definitely go again. MC was great too, created a great atmosphere.

Brilliant night last night the acts were great me and my fiancee found sully o Sullivan and Bethany black absolutely ace! Used to go comedy store but will stick to here now better atmosphere and you get the disco afterwards! Love it

As first timers and a mature couple at the Frog we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, the service provided and the venue itself. The compere and the acts were superb and the comedy seemed to be aimed just at the right level to be appreciated by most. Count me in for further visits down the line.

All round fabulousness! Amazing pizza ÔŅĹ super acts and a great compare. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Recommend booking in advance and be prepared to laugh until your belly hurts ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Absolutely fantastic evening, all acts were brilliantband the headliner had me crying with laughter, threw a few shapes on the dance floor after too lol wonderful evening. 2nd time i have been here and both times were great, highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant! Went to celebrate my birthday with friends for something different as I'd never been before. Im So glad we did! bit of a strange venue for the wrestling but the shows are the best.

Here tonight, great place and comedy really good apart from one of the members of the bar, for a place that supposed to make you laugh I don't think I've been spoken to as rudely before this guy needs to get sense of humour! Only asked for bar snacks had my head clean bitten off!

Great place to enjoy a good laugh and beer! Have to pre-book though to avoid the awkward wait near the door till a couple of chairs clear out. Alternatively, as the kind bouncer confirmed to us, you can sit at any table with extra chairs and no 'reserved' sign in sight. Wonderful energy and a worthwhile experience overall!

Great night out.Went with my partner and we both enjoyed it. Booked through Groupon and got a pizza and 2 drinks included in price. Pizza was lovely, comedians very funny and DJ Chris Jam played some classic tunes and was very friendly and open to request at the end of the night. I Would definitely go again but don't go if you're a rowdy bunch as you will be told to be quiet at every opportunity.

Beat the Frog is great but it's slightly depressing to be told it's the current year and the acts warned that they mustn't go near the "wrong" subjects because it's the current year.



God is great

Usually a really good night but the hen parties absolutely ruined it. If you want to continuously talk all night, stay the F**k away. I'd bar hen parties from this venue! ūüė°

I send it frog and bucket last night wasn't very impressed with the axe what is here to mess with Friday night to be fair. In many other times and left it, food average

Can’t help but feel a bit shafted tonight by this place. My boyfriend and I are here often for the Beat The Frog thing on Mondays and have always really loved it. We’ve come tonight and every single table is reserved which we had no idea is a thing and they’re still cramming more people in through the door knowing full well that there’s nowhere to sit or even stand. I asked on the door if there are seats before I paid and was given a completely ambiguous answer. I understand it’s a business etc etc etc but this is just a bit cruel on the customers. Can’t even get to the bar because there are so many people just stood in a crowd with nowhere to sit. A warning would have been nice so we could have made the choice to go somewhere else with more space for us on date night.



We’ve managed to find somewhere ok to stand now but it would have been nice to have been told at the door that we’d be standing in cramped conditions before paying.



All aside the bar staff were quick as always and dealt with the surge, well done guys.

Wow sat here for a hen do, paid a tenner retainer to prevent heckling . The show has started 25min late and I’ve just been told off for speaking to the lady next to me . Apparently no talking at all during the show . Not hopeful for my retainer back . That’s just ruined my night . Not thanks frog and bucket .
