Nice, reasonable pub, good for coffee and cheap drink. Typical pub food with lovely staff, can get very busy in the evenings.

If you are looking for a cheap value for money bar meal then this is the place for you. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

Fantastic place,cheap food excellent beer. Great rooms which are very smart,comfortable bed,brilliant kettle great shower. We really enjoyed our stay. A superb Thai restaurant around the corner . 10/10

Not that long been upgraded, looks lovely... Staff are absolutely great but understaffed, tables are never cleaned, menus are always sticky, lights above tables don't work... Sauce baskets are always empty... No double door on men's toilets next to hotel so people can just look in from the table outside! But as a rule I have to admit the food is good tho... Well worth a visit for a breakfast or lunch time!

I find the staff very pleasant & willing. When the bar is busy, I can be waiting up to 10 minutes to be served. Only downfall is that the staff don't seem to know whose next in line. This leads to others being served before those that may have waited longer. I'm usually pushed for time therefore I speak up & let the staff know if I'm next in line to be served or I gesture that another customer is before me. Overall service is good, staff friendly & accommodating. Also note that the ladies is always clean & well lit.

Great reasonable price pub and eatery with plenty of choice....including a weightwatchers points menu!!!! Very handy

Excellent and friendly staff, great bar food and comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation, I have stayed in hotel accommodation more than double the price that has not been as nice. Would happily stay here again and great for a short drive to the Lakes without lakes accommodation prices

Quiet standard Wetherspoon, stopped for a pint while waiting for a bus. Pint was very average. Quite unremarkable - was like most other Wetherspoon's
