Due to the weather and declining light, we are taking a break from our pizzas. Instead, Thursdays at the Gaggle will be our new Pie Night - celebrating our new look pies
Thursdays during Autumn now mean a choice of three homemade wholecase pies and choose from hand-cut chips or one of three types of mash .... all with a jug of gravy

Our Sunday Roasts at the Gaggle are now available in three sizes .... Small, Regular & the mighty Trio.
Roasts served on Sundays from midday til 5pm. Booking recommended.

One of the Gaggle regulars, Matthew Russell is running to raise money for an excellent cause.... He would appreciate help to reach his target and motivate him to reach the finish line....

Date for your diary ... our first Gaggle Pub Quiz of the year will be Wednesday 19th September.
Teams of up to 6. £2 a head or free if you dine with us on the night. Quiz starts at 8.30pm. Book a table for your team now!

Tomorrow, Sunday, will be our last BBQ and band in the garden for the year. Roasts and BBQ served from midday til we run out.

We are really grateful for all of the support and goodwill we have received in getting the Gaggle open and thriving again. Fantastic to receive lots of positive and helpful feedback. And now amazing to see we already have 500 Facebook 'likes'.

Since re-opening the Gaggle in May, it has been fantastic to see the pub getting busier and receiving positive feedback. To build on our team, we are now looking to recruit a Sous Chef. Hours can be flexible. Feel free to share or get in touch if you have any queries or would like to apply.

Todays Gaggle Kids Club is postponed as we are having some works done to our patio area. Fun & Games as normal next Tuesday

We love to use local firms to help us at the Gaggle. Buckland Newton Hire (BNH) are as local as it gets....working hard to provide power & water to our shepherd hut. The hut is being converted in to showers and toilets for campers at Gaggle Fest

Its August and a Thursday.... which means it is pizza night at the Gaggle! Mario and Luigi (aka Keith & Simon) are busy making dough ... wood-fired pizzas will be available from 6 til 8pm (unless we sell out!)

Our friendly Skittles League continues this week with matches between the Turnovers vs Hot Chocolate. And the clash of last weeks winning teams, Duntish Dexters vs Pin Ups

From Tuesday 17th July we are launching our weekly Village Friendly Skittles League. Looking for teams to register to take part. The 'Duntish Dexters' and the 'Turnovers' are awaiting challengers....

Well renovated pub nice decor, and welcoming atmosphere, great daytime event and BBQ and good home cooked pub menu. not to mention afternoon teas (with cake!) , ideal for afterschool - more space than the park!!

We visited the pub this evening for a delicious meal.It is great to have the Gaggle back,definitely worth the wait.

Very impressed! Excellent service, varied menu, value pricing! Really nice to have our village pub back and it will go from strength to strength. Well done as it has taken a huge effort by its young new owners to knock the Gaggle back into into the Premier League!

Thank goodness a lovely Friday night meal I didn’t have to cook. So delighted to see the Gaggle back, better and buzzing.

Simon and Sarah looked after fifteen of us for lunch today and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselve. The food, hospitality and ambience were just perfect.

Myself, family and friends visited The Gaggle of Geese Pub last night for a meal, and I have to say the food is delicious, the service is amazing and the pub itself has a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend paying a visit to The Gaggle of Geese Pub, it is great to this this pub back in service! Well done to Simon, Sarah and all members of the community who worked so hard to make this establishment so fantastic! Additionally, many thanks to Matthew Russell and Lydia Russell and family for a great night with friends, we had a great time!

Lovely gem of a pub, wish we'd found it earlier in our holiday. Food reasonably priced and very nice. Lovely huge garden, nice staff and gorgeous pub dog. Highly recommend it.

Had a lovely meal today to celebrate mine & hubby's 25th wedding anniversary, all nine of us had the roast dinner & everyone enjoyed it ��

Had a lovely Sunday Roast, good value for money and delicious. Erika the Manager is very welcoming and friendly, the whole place had a nice atmosphere and I can’t wait to come again and next time camp over!

Fantastic feel to the pub, great range of beers etc, decor looks amazing, food is excellent. Music with pop up barbecue is a great way to spend an afternoon, cant wait until the next one . Wish we lived nearer and we would be more regular

Did a pub walk today and finished up at the Gaggle of Geese where we had the best game pie ever! Simon and the staff were friendly and the pub and gardens lovely, will definitely be going back. It's a 10 out of ten from us!
