About The Gallery On The Hoe
Welcome to the Trerise Gallery, & Studios, built into the rock face at just above sea level of Plymouth’s famous historic promenade.
In the early 1900s seaside bathing was the current trend using the tidal pools scattered throughout the foreshore. To facilitate these bathers, changing rooms were built.
After being closed up for some 20 years, one of the blocks of changing rooms has been thoughtfully restored transforming the space into Plymouths newest and most unique gallery with its open views of Plymouth Sound and located on the popular South West Footpath in which to showcase new and equally unique artworks. Open 11am -5pm Monday - Sunday.
