We've just had our wedding here (5/5/18) and what a wonderful place it is. The location, the character, atmosphere, food and staff all made this place the perfect venue choice and one I can't recommend enough. Angela, the wedding coordinator, is such a friendly, experienced and focused person who made useful suggestions and helped shape our day. All our guests commented on the quality of the food and being in the heart of the Dales made it a unique location. Thank you to all the team; we now will have an excuse to come back year upon year celebrating anniversaries and recounting fond memories. From Andrew and natasha

We held our wedding here from our ceremony through to our night do, we couldn't have asked for any more, absolutely beautiful day from start to finish.. so many compliments from all our guests about the venue and ALL of the staff.. all we can say is thank you so much you made our day perfect and so so special.. We have just visited the gamekeepers inn for my husbands birthday. We got a good deal for dinner, bed & breakfast. However when it came to our dinner, I was most looking forward to Sunday lunch. When being seated we were told there was no beef or pork left. So that left us with chicken or prawns or the vegetarian option. I ordered garlic prawns and they didnŌĆÖt really taste that garlicky. But other then that we really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back again.. hoping there is beef on the menu ’┐Į

We have been to the Gamekeepers several times in the past few years but have not eaten there recently. As we were staying at the nearby Caravan site we Visited on Friday 14th July for early Anniversary meal. I ordered the Tiger Prawn with chilli and ginger starter and it was just delicious, hubby ordered the mushrooms which he also really enjoyed. We both ordered the "fizz and chips" Friday special and the beer battered fish was lovely. We enjoyed the meal so much that when our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons visited the next day, we returned for an early afternoon tea. We ordered from the light bite menu and the food again was delicious. We had our little dog with us and this is a really great dog friendly place, with excellent food and great customer service.

We had out wedding at The Gamekeeper's Inn on 14/04/2018. We stumbled across the venue by chance, but we were so glad we did. The staff could not do enough to help us. Angela, the wedding co-ordinator, deserves a special thank you for all your help running up to the wedding, nothing was too much to ask, she definitely has a lot of wedding experience! Claire, Angela, Stuart, Verity & the housekeeper (I didn't catch her name) were amazing, helping guide us through the day & helping with any questions we had. The Venue was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing, from the starters to the evening Hog Roast. The bedrooms are also finished to a very high standard - really recommend staying here too! Thank you so much for making our Wedding so perfect!

Visited today for the first time after winning the fathers day Facebook competition. The food was absolutely delicious with such a wide range to choose from (we were slightly boring and had the roast but it was amazing). There is such a welcoming atmosphere and all the staff were lovely ! Just told my husband this is where we're having our anniversary meal :)

The gamekeepers inn is absolutely fantastic place we stayed there last night and we have just booked are wedding there. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is 10 out of 10 the best food I have ever had. So for a night away or out for food I would highly recommend this place

Staying st the Wharfedale caravan club site, decided to visit for a drink then decided to eat. There were 9 of us in the group and they did their utmost to accommodate a large group at short notice - food was amazing so much so we were back in the next day for a quick drink......7 hours later we left but we had booked a table for food this time - it was amazing again. Staff were really friendly and helpful.... would definitely recommend

Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to Stuart and his team at Gamekeepers where we had our wedding reception last Saturday. They dealt with all my annoying questions quickly and without fuss, they were really organised and I felt totally reassured that everything would be as I wanted (I am particular). Everything was perfect we had a sit down meal for 60 (including various special dietary requirements) that was absolutely delicious then we had bacon/sausage sandwiches in the evening. Every member of the team that I spoke to was friendly and obliging. Everyone LOVED the food had so many comments on it and also how lovely the function room and accommodation was. We adored the honeymoon suite was lovely to sit on the balcony the following morning and reflect on our magical day. We can assure you we will back again and again this place has so many happy memories now. Thankyou doesn't seem a good enough word ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Just stayed here for my cousins wedding, beautiful place. The staff were friendly, cheerful and really looked after us, they did everything they could to make sure we were settled with our disabled daughter. The wedding reception went really smoothly, the food was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed being able to play outside.

John and I had our wedding there last weekend and it was just perfect!! All our friends commented on the food, venue and staff...top notch!! Angela and Stuart, together with their staff could not do enough for us and the whole weekend was brilliant....I have always loved the Dales but now even more so.....it will forever be our special place.... xx

Great little B&B in a fab location. Best full English breakfast I've ever had. Great to have the added bonus of the indoor spa facilities including pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room included with the price and at your disposal from 7am until 9pm.

We will definitely return and I wouldn't hesitate in recommended it

From the moment we first visited to the day after our wedding we received first class, kind, patient, and excellent support. Angela the wedding planner couldnŌĆÖt do enough to help our nerves and was very understanding of our idiosyncrasies! The head barman (canŌĆÖt remember his name) was incredible and simply lovely.

This is the perfect wedding venue if you want an individualised service, want to feel you are the only people ever to get married, and have a magical day. Thank you is not enough, we had our dream wedding and will be forever grateful.

Food as usual was great and the deserts were to die for. The pithivier was just out of this world. Its a veggie option but an amazing dish.thanks to all who made this experience special.

Excellent food and wine available here, cute, clean rooms and the use of the leisure facilities within the grounds is very handy when it's miserable weather wise. The bar area is quite small to accommodate people staying over as well as the "locals" who seemed to know all the staff extremely well and kept a vibrant conversation going for over 5 hours. All in all it was a great getaway to treat my husband for his birthday. I can certainly envisage a return trip in the sunnier climate or possibly just stopping by for a spot of lunch.

Another amazing visit to The Gamekeepers this weekend. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the fish sharing platter! Would highly recommend as place to eat or stay.

Absolutely gorgeous venue, totally perfect for our wedding day. Angela the events planner was amazing from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, very professional but relaxed. The staff were all fantastic, again, nothing was too much trouble, they are an absolute credit to the gamekeepers. Every single guest commented on how amazing the food was day and evening. The drinks are not overpriced like all other wedding venues. The rooms are all really nice, and the honeymoon suite is absolutely perfect! There is not one thing I could fault or criticise......no one wanted it to end! It was lovely to be able to get up the next day and have breakfast and go for a swim with the kids and relax. Absolutely outstanding, would always recommend and the gamekeepers helped create the most amazing day for us and our guests!! Thankyou so much to the whole team!! ’┐Į’┐Į
