Morning to all good customers, it has been a rather sad weekend over at the Gardeners Arms, one of our exceptionally good customers has unfortunately passed away. George Seeby will always be remembered for his awesome character, he defiantly lite the room up when he came in for a pint, in our hearts you will remain, our condolences go out to each and every member of his family and to the strong circle of friends he made over the years. George you will always be remembered for being you. The below photo shows the charismatic outlook to life George had. God rest your sole rest in peace.

Went here yesterday, good pint, bbq smelt great. Didnt win on the bandit as i didnt play it
We've just had the Sunday dinner (beef and turkey) and Sicilian lemon sponge for afters, plus a kiddies meal with a crazy ice-cream and it was all fab. The lovely Gardeners team squeezed us in despite being mad busy getting the pub ready for a big New Year's party. Thank you guys.
Use to always go in this pub with my dad. Everyone gets along and always laughs. Loved this pub growing up.
Took the family out for a Christmas lunch to the Gardeners Arms in Timperley. Found it just by chance. Food was absolutely excellent. Probably the best we have had in the Sale Timperley Altrincham area for some considerable time. Taste presentation and service all at reasonable prices, absolutely spot on. Lovely staff. Lastly the beer was great. A really good experience. Will be back soon.
Took my baby son tonight for his tea as the kids menu is free when ordered with an adult meal. Really enjoyed it :-)
The food is spot on service spot on would highly recommend the chicken burger but get the chilli sausage as an extra cant fault it
The Sunday Lunch here is now fantastic, we are so lucky to have The Gardeners as our local! See you soon.
Really enjoyed the food, had a messy burger, so said because it's so big. Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. What more do you need from a pub.

Came for the christmas day dinner with my parents. Although everyone was rushed off their feet, they still took time to chat and even take photos for families which was fantastic. It was the best christmas dinner ive ever had (sorry mum!). Overall huge congratulations to Steve, chefs, service and team and a huge thank you. Brilliant meal and experience.

I had the all day breakfast - it was delicious! I've only given it 4 stars because it was served on a chopping board. It might just be me, but I struggled with eating the (beautifully done) fried eggs as the yolks kept dribbling towards the edge of the board! The baked beans were also tricky to eat as they were in a paper cup - I'm assuming to stop them from running off the board too! So a yummy meal but might be better on a plate!
Great Sunday lunch in my first time here in about 20 years! Staff were lovely. Beef was amazing and the only reason I haven't given the full 5 stars?? No crackling available with the pork, the best bit surely!?
I visited here a few weeks ago and it was great . Today however was not so good... we asked for pino Grigio as part of the steak deal and were told it only includes Chardonnay (we had pino last time), then the food arrived and instead of the big chunky wedges/chips we were given skin on fries, We noticed that the peppercorn sauce which was included last time was missing and when we asked for it we were told that they don't do it anymore all they do is a BBQ peppercorn sauce which is no longer included, all of this added to the fact that the steak was cooked incorrectly (steak was still nice though). Looks like I'll be on the hunt for a new steak deal somewhere.
A real shame as I've told everyone about it based on my first visit but obviously I won't be from here on in unless I hear that things have changed back.
