We live in Norwich, but found ourselves in Brighton overnight last night, and after a bit of googling around, had the great good fortune to end up at this delightful place. What an absolute treasure of a pub it is

Not only did they have my favourite Belgian beer on draught (Leffe) which is so unusual, but there were decent real ales too. We'd had a vague plan to sally forth after there and seek out a restaurant we'd earmarked, but ended up staying put and chowing down on excellent sausage and mash dinners (plus sides), and the amount of nosebag that arrived could've fuelled a small army.

The best thing about this gem of a pub though was the staff. Absolutely charming, friendly and engaging to a wo/man.

The roast dinners here are so good and have cured many hangovers for us. Love having this brilliant pub so close. Great staff too. 5 stars every time.

Nice atmosphere, food and drink, lovely bartender

Looked at the menu. NO CHIPS! Well as it happens I didn't miss chips at all. About 8 choices of sausage, similar number of mashed potato types an assortment of gravies and side dishes. Had a really nice meal with family.

If you want to eat amazing bangers and mash and listen to top quality rock/stoner music, this is the place! We love the food, the good selection of beers and wines and the staff and owners are super friendly. Highly recommended! Once again, the music is awesome!

Fantastic pint of Guiness, friendly staff and what a pub should be like, will return before Christmas and sample the food, judging by the reviews a great place to eat !.

Fantastic Sunday roast at the Geese, I had pork and the kids had chicken both were delicious as were the veg and trimmings. Washed down with a few bloody Mary’s. Friendly bar staff and owner always make you welcome.

Best pub roast ever. I’d highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding, it’s insane. Lovely family lunch. Brilliant staff and a great atmosphere.
