Lovely community pub serving real ales and a real cider. Food is excellent, portions generous. A very friendly pub where everyone speaks to you. CAMRA pub of the year 2016 and shortlisted this year. Incorporating the village library and shop.

This is a traditional pub run by the local community with great food, a friendly welcome and a wide range of beers and wine. The views out over the valley are exceptional. You can walk from Richmond if you are feeling energetic! Highly recommended.

Pub beer festival..... Excellent choice of cask beers, ciders and food- local cheeses and barbecued treats. Live music and friendly staff rounded off a great visit. Oh, and the best views in Richmond!

A really friendly pub with great beer and great atmosphere. Would've stayed a lot longer if I could. Vinyl music played behind the bar and it's locally owned. Will definitely come back.

We have been here several times now. Dog friendly. The staff are all wonderfully kind. The music is played from vinyl! The food is very good. Cheap and yet excellent quality. All very much home made and cooked. The beer and cider is well, absolutely fantastic. CAMRA recommended for a very good reason. We now would come out of our way to visit. Its worth doing the drive from here to Downholme for the views...
