The George & Dragon W3 Description

Dragonfly Brewery is bringing delicious craft beer to West London.

Producing 1200 Litres of cask and kegged beer per brew, The Dragonfly Brewery is one of the largest brewpubs in London. While many of our beers have been created using popular styles and trends, the brewery will also introduce niche and seasonal brews, such as American Pales and Session IPAs.

Dragonfly Brewery serves 3 of their own craft beers:

Early Doors (4. 3% ABV) - A crisp, citrus and floral gold coloured Oatmeal Pale Ale -
£4. 30;
Achtung! (5% ABV) - A Bavarian style wheat beer with flavours of banana and clove - £4. 30;
Blighty Best (4% ABV) - A rich and full-flavoured traditional Best Bitter - £4. 30.

Expect to find a big list of guest beers too from the best microbreweries such as Beavertown, Siren and Tiny Rebel.

Riccardo Pulcinelli, the landlord and head-brewer of Dragonfly Brewery who also run Clouded Minds brewery in Oxfordshire, designed the beer recipes using the best hops, malts and yeast strains.

He also brought the best pizza and sushi in the area from two local suppliers based in Churchfield Road, 5 minutes walking distance from the premises.

The bar snacks are several and cover:

• Salted peanuts
• Roasted peanuts
• Cashews nuts
• Chilli rice crackers
• Taralli crackers
• Olives
• Crisps
• Pork scratchings

The Dragonfly Brewery is housed in the George & Dragon, a 17th Century Inn that has been lovingly restored and is steeped in a fascinating history that stretches back centuries.

Situated on Acton’s High Street, the George & Dragon’s original dark wood frontage is a reminder of the pub’s previous role as a stop off for travelers on the busy road from London to Oxford. Likely to have been a pub of some description since medieval times, a list of previous landlords dating as far back as 1759 still hangs on the wall. From tales of highwaymen and confirmed accounts of 18th Century vicious robberies, the George & Dragon’s past is certainly a colourful one!

The George & Dragon pub also hosts open mic nights every Monday and live bands every Wednesday /Thursday.
