Went there today with my partner and we both had fantastic meals. All cooked fresh and certainly very filling. Well worth the trip to Dorchester if anyone wants some amazing food.



Staff are also very polite, friendly& welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit.

Went here for my husband birthday meal it was a very friendly and warm atmosphere and the food was lovely and very good size portions for both adults and kids meals will definitely go again

We went here last night for my dad's birthday.

There was r of us, the service was fantastic, from the second we arrived and was explained the menu, to having drinks brought to our table,and even moving tables due to the sun.

We then ordered our pies, they took 40 mins to come because they are made fresh, but they were beautiful. The best pie I have had in a long time.

They made us feel at home and the owners were incredibly friendly.

We were highly recommend this pub for a brilliant meal.

We visited today having stumbled across the Facebook page in search of dinner suggestions and were not disappointed! The pies are just delicious, the chips are crispy and the burgers are juicy. We will definitely return next time we are visiting!

We visited this eve on recommendation.....we certainly were not disappointed!! All pies and burgers are freshly cooked to order. You choose either a 6oz or 12oz pie and there are lots to choose from in terms of fillings. We met and chatted to the proprietors Chris and Kim who are not only clearly very experienced in their trade, but also genuinely lovely people who can't do enough to ensure you enjoy your evening. We highly recommend a visit!!

We had an amazing lunch here, the pies were fantastic prob the best we've had. More than enough food. Well catered for my one year old who also loved her pie and loved. Very friendly and chatty staff. Highly recommend

We had a big work dinner here last night and the staff made it ao easy and trouble free. Everyone loved the food and the cozy atmosphere. Thank you so much.

This was our 2nd visit and they surpassed themselves again. I had a pie this time, chicken, bacon and brie, delicious! My husband and son went for burgers again and they were just as good as last time. Will recommend this restaurant again and again. Thank you.

Tasty food and good value

Very attentive service and good menu choice. We had two burgers and a child's meal, all very tasty. We would highly recommend and will definitely be going back to try a pie next time.

Superb place to go out eat and relax, staff and owner go out of there way to make you feel welcome and the steak and ale pie is possibly one of the best in world, Thankyou for a great evening.

Really enjoyed our meal here, the most delicious, proper pie (not just a pastry lid!) served with creamy mash (or other potato options if you wish) & plenty of fresh veggies.

Generous portions at a reasonable price and very friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend the chicken New yorker pie!

Great quick service, food was lovely. Only downside was use of pepper on chips and burger, and no one came back to ask if food was ok/if anymore drinks wanted.

Would go back again though.

Fantastic evening , great food , great service , great atmospherr and well priced , the pies we're well worth the wait advised on the menu , every one of are party of 15 left very satisfied and talking about how much they enjoyed it. Will be back again soon, Thanks for a great evening.

Came here for the first time the other day with some friends, was really impressed the food was lovely and you don’t come away feeling hungry, will definitely be back x x

Ate here tonight for the first time and cannot fault anything at all. The service was brilliant as soon as we walked in the door to when we were leaving. Very friendly and polite explaining the menu when we sat down and checking everything was ok during and after eating. The food was incredible. I can honestly say it's the best burger I've ever eaten in a pub/restaurant and the home made sauce was amazing. To top things off this place is great value for money and will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone who asks for a good place to eat!

Absolutely fantastic food and the staff cannot do enough to help. So accommodating and friendly. I had the local game pie which was to die for and my husband had the gourmet hot dog which looked fantastic, he certainly enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a great Halloween night 3 course meal here and it was really good value, well cooked and presented, needed a bone bowl for the ribs as they fell off the bone. Well done Georgie's
