The Gibberd Garden is an inspirational 9 acre garden with over 80 post-war sculptures and architectural pieces set in a series of enchanting spaces, including formal lawns, ornate terraces, a dramatic mature lime avenue, pools, streams and glades – with fabulous garden views from Sir Frederick Gibberd’s own house (open Sundays only).
It has been described by BBC Gardener’s World as “One of the most important post-war gardens in the country…. where sculpture and plants complement each other perfectly. ”
The Garden is included on the English Heritage Register of Parks & Gardens of Special Interest and is listed Grade II.
