Beautiful wedding at The Ginger Fox

Was on the way back from running Brighton marathon, desperate to find a good meal and found this place. Totally hit the spot - family friendly and the food is excellent. Hope to return soon.

The Ginger Fox is ALWAYS an excellent experience. The food is first rate and so is the friendly service. We have visited on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The only thing we wish is that they could pick up the pub/restaurant and move it nearer to where we live!!!!

Despite the distance, we will be back!

Had the most delicious food here today, upstairs in the function room. Emily, our waitress was fabulous - friendly, attentive and efficiently worked her way round all twenty-five of us with no fuss - getting all our orders perfectly correct. The food all arrived hot and in quick succession and was beautifully presented. I recommend you visit - you won’t be disappointed.

Great food, roasts out are usually a disappointment but not here. Perfect size to eat 2 courses. Wine great quality, plenty of attentive staff. Cannot fault!

Came here today for the first time. Must say the food was amazing (the chef needs a pay rise, best food we have eaten in a while), the service was the best we've experienced yet and the cocktails were to die for. Booked a table for Sunday dinner so will see how that is (although I have no doubt in my mind that it will be just as amazing) we enjoy fine dining and if that's what your looking for definitely get down here.

Awesome place.. nice staff.. great surroundings.. lovely atmosphere. All in all... pretty fab..

Absolutely stunning food with the friendliest service I've ever experienced. Each dish is divine without feeling ostentatious. Gnocchi like happy clouds :) Great atmosphere, relaxed with a nice garden for a pre-dinner drink and very cosy on the inside. Perfect for a special celebratory meal as well as just a relaxed impromptu dinner!

A little more expensive than your average pub but good value for money as the service is good and the food is great �

We called in this afternoon for a drink, a very helpful young man asked us to take a seat in the garden and he would bring us a drinks menu along with a jug of water, which he did. He said he'd be back to take our order in a couple of minutes. While we waited we decided when he returned we would ask for a food menu. It was very fortunate that he left the jug of water as that was all we had! Nobody came back, after about half an hour, we decided to leave. On walking past the door I looked in to see the staff chatting happily, we went elsewhere. Disappointed as had heard great reviews!

Although the service was good on today's visit that's all that was right about it! We were told we needed to be at the restaurant for midday as they would need the table back at 2:15pm. As there were only two of us dining I asked if we could arrive later at 12:30pm as midday was a little early for us but this was refused as they said we wouldn't have enough time... (For the record we arrived at midday and had left by 12:45pm!). The Sunday lunch menu gave no veggie roast option just tagliatelle! When I asked for just veg and roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding I was charged £16.50 the same price as my husbands Roast Beef option. Although overpriced I wouldn't have minded had it have been nice but it wasn't. It was all very sloppy, very little flavour, soggy Yorkshire pudding and the gravy was so tomatoey it wasn't really a gravy. Very disappointed - we certainly won't be returning anytime soon!
