The Gingerbread House - Tea Room

This is a lovely tea room and cafe. The prices of the food etc ,was a bit on the high side but it does get busy . Inside it has little table cloths on making it look chique. There are settees around ,if you don't fancy sitting at a table. On busy times your order may take quite a while ,but when it comes it is hot and tasty

The food here is delicious and the books I have taken from there have helped me alot with the new knowledge in year 7.

Disappointing. Ordered a pain in and wasn't given a choice of brown or white. The dessert in the jar was extremely sickly. No mayo or salad cream available on the table. Sorry but won't be visiting again.

Don't normally do "reviews", or recommend, but the gingerbread house deserves one! Great food and friendly staff, just what you would hope for! Highly recommended *****

Clean and pleasant surroundings. Nice food. Polite and courteous staff, in the main (have come across one staff member not so customer focused). Would recommend to others though.

Popped in for lunch today. Kids picnic selection is a great choice on a hot sunny day.
Freshly made cheese sandwiches, Mini cheddars, mini Gingerbread men, chocolate mini roll, raisins and juice all for £3.50.

I came here with my dad just for a cup of tea and cake. Parking wasn't a problem and was close by. The service was quick and friendly with a smile, we ordered and sat down. In just a few minutes we had our drinks and cake. The venue is light and welcoming, I will return

Community venue, great meeting place. Lovely food, English afternoon tea. Had a great time with my friend. Only two points to improve:
1 menu advertises breakfast which we would have enjoyed. When going to order told only severed before 11.30am we were to late. There is nothing on the menu or up in the cafe to say this. Need to add to the menu or your signage.
2. Observed at least 5 different staff, they are very nice and friendly but they don't clear away the dirty pots or check if you are happy with the food.

Such a friendly hub ... good food in a lovely busy family friendly place

Really nice little cafe that serves afternoon tea. The cakes are delicious and huge!
