The Glass House

Service was slower than usual but is acceptable since it was during the half terms. On a normal day everything is great

Nice and casual place for chats and gathering of friends. Open space and cheap drinks. Very tasty disserano and coke 😉.

Exceptionally good staff at the Glass House. Genuinely friendly, efficient, and helpful. Combined with the ordering app and the consistently excellent lunch we've had from the kitchen recently it's doing very well on Wensum street. We mostly visit during the day. Only let down by some a few bits of dodgy furniture and outstanding maintenance. Everything behind the bar and kitchen is top notch.

It's a good place to eat and have a drink but most meals are with chips. Not much variety of you don't like chips. Great value money wise.

The weather quickly swung from cold and hot. But we had many choices for the table. You can enjoy different view at courtyard, inside or balcony viewing the Cathedral. I can’t give rate for food as we didn’t had meal. Especially drinking while it is still light, I recommend this pub.

Stood at the bar in a bright orange shirt and 3 people who got there after me were served first by the team leader. A manager type staff member also kept looking at my girlfriend to the point she felt weird by him. THE KETCHUP BOTTLE STILL HAD THE PLASTIC SEAL IN IT. Not really a big problem but clearly ran by a bunch of jokers. (The chap who brought us our food was great though but no name badge to sing his praises)

Good food at a cheap price. Quick service at the bar and ordering food. Also they have separate menus for people with food intolerances which is a big plus.

Pretty standard Weatherspoons; cheap food and cheap-ish beer. Very friendly service despite being very busy. Food didn't take too long to come out and was very tasty when I did, strongly recommend the mixed grill

Would like to say a massive thank you to the door staff at the glass house. My step daughter was on a night out with her boyfriend & other people, shortly before closing they had a falling out, when she returned from the toilet they had disappeared & left her, young female of 21 years of age, she was frightened & very upset. The door staff would not allow her to leave even though they had closed up. Received a phone call & spoke with the door staff who explained the situation, they sat with her & kept her safe until we had arrived to pick her up which was around 2am. They showed compassion & understanding, fantastic job by a very dedicated team of people!!
