We're currently taking on staff for our kitchen. With excellent customer service skills, you should be professional and well presented - able to communicate clearly with people at all levels. You should be a self-motivated team player able to work unsupervised in a busy environment. If this sounds like you click on the link below, select Kitchen Staff as job type and North West in location. Good Luck!

fast service and nice staff, breakfast was lovely my boyfriend said it was well cooked and lovely as always. The one downside is I was not able to have any food only a cup of tea as you do not serve brown bread or toast of you did I would if been able to order some food for myself.

User

Went there for my birthday lunch. Food spot on. Loads of choice. Prompt service.

No Glass, no house, no weather and most importantly, no bloody spoon! Trade description gone completely out of the window.

Nice ladies are catered for but trampy ones are made to take the little men for their toilet business.

Two lovely toilet rooms are available one for men, the other for virgin women are frequently looked at by the Prime ministers aunties and evaluated for a full risk assessment.

Weekends are good as you don't have to work so hard at beating the footballers heads in.

Anyone who can play tiddlywinks can rest assured that all dominoes are counted and all dots are checked for political orientation (Be it left or right wing persuasion).

Don't however smoke dope here! They'll have all sorts of fruit and veg being talked about.

Real men are too good to tell about the few dollars that were lost many, many moons ago.

One gun slinger lost his weapon trying to throw it to Blackpool using only one hand and a single packet of blu tack.

Eat chocolate in well lit areas as television watchers are on the loose and will be offended easily!

Quickly take notes down about the good willed Winstanley as he is not often available for his most excellently written bullshit reviews.

Keep your eye out! Winny's about!

User

After reading recent reviews I just wanted to add we have been coming here ten years now and never had a bad meal yet, staff are always polite and attentive and it's our go to for breakfast and curry night. We are fussy about where we eat and only other place we really enjoy in St Helens is colours xxx

User

We went to the glass house last night , lovely sunny evening sat outside but then the tables and chairs were taken in at 7 so we had to move to the covered outside area. This was such a shame as lots of people moved on to go elsewhere as they wanted to sit in the sun and enjoy their drinks

User

Lovely clean pub, great value, great food, just need more staff on when things like Christmas light switch on, staff should be more observant when people have been waiting to be served and people just walk up and get served straight away (owd blokes worst for it! Acting like not seen you)

User

Good range of beers, ciders, if you are in Camra you can get 50p off the cask and traditional ciders. Not eaten here

User

Why oh why is the Air con on full in the middle of winter no matter where we sit it's draughty spoils our evening

User

We ate here on new years eve and after calling to book a table at 6pm 2 days before, we arrived to be told that they had stopped serving at 5.30pm and had no record of our booking. The lady who we spoke to I am presuming was the manager agreed to honour our booking but the disco entertainment would be on at 7pm and cost £5 if we wanted to stay. We decided to just have our meal and go. The bacon bites starter was tasty if just a bit overdone. The mains of mixed grill and crispy chicken were nice but just too much to finish. The dessert was a let down though. Cheap chocolate icecream and a few Smarties, Maltesers and 2 twix stuck in. Was one cookie in the whole thing even though was for two. We did not enjoy it. Overall it was ok but we were let down with dessert.

User

They had a 14 Oz Aberdeen Angus steak on special offer on sunday for £7.99 (subject to availability) so I asked a waitress could I have one please and she said because there is only one left I would have to pay full price for it (around £13.50). It was available so why was I being asked to pay full price?

The bacon was burnt to a crisp the sausage tasted like it had been warmed up the egg was passable

Due to not having much time we ate it reluctantly but really should have returned it

User

Just as you would expect with a Wetherspoons but I think this one must be the worst for getting served. Staff need to jump on the bar to see to customers but you find they are cleaning shelves, etc. The customer must come first. I have seen people walk out because the length of time you have to get served at time.

User

I sometimes have Eggs Benedict for my breakfast. Although very tasty, it is hit and miss if the eggs will have runny yolks. Eggs Benedict should always have runny yolks but I'd say 80% of the time they aren't runny. I've heard that Weatherspoons poach their eggs in the microwave. Do them in a pan Weatherspoons and get your yolks right!

User

Was in there last night, not too keen on the place.

User

So imagine coming In, having to Ask someone to clean the table and then the staff playing this down as 'only a bit of bacca' then having to Ask for a clean cup and this taking several attempts of finding one. Breakfast comes, which tbf was ok but then staff serving food to the next table turn around and says 'can I just steal these' and swiftly take your condiment that you're actually using!!!!!!! (There were many empty tables with spare condiments on, she was just being lazy). Time to teach you're staff some customer sevice skills along with basic hygiene!!

User

The food was freezing cold told couldnt eat it told the staff they said oh if you come again you can have a free drink ! Point totally missed

User

Called in last night for food which was freezing cold complained to the manager but he just walked off and didn't offer us replacement or even apologise just offered me 10% off my next visit which won't be any time soon
