Went out on sunday for mothers day booked in at last minute the food was excellent with loads and loads of veg, my mum had the lamb and siad it was lovely and i had the gammon beatiful and my brother had the beef was amazing. Also the service behind the bar was really good didnt have to wait. Well done on such a busy day. Food was really hot too..x

We've just held our Wedding Anniversary party in the Politzer Suite and it was fabulous. Seamless from the moment we booked right to the actual evening - nothing is too much trouble for these guys. DJ worth a special mention - he was great and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing, we had our wedding reception here 2 years ago and could not fault them at all, Paul and the staff were just fabulous from start to finish and also with the planning and the lead up to the wedding, it is our 2nd anniversary today and again could not fault it, absolutely amazing venue and food, thank you so much for everything �� totally recommend for any function especially your wedding....�

I had my wedding reception here. Amazing food!! Over a grand for all meals there was about 50-70 people. But was brill. Mother in law did the room laid the tables etx. These guys just served the food but not ad for carvary and desert. Brillaint again anyway! Alot of money but worth it. These guys must of made alot the day we got married with the price of the booking room and food + drinks on top. But again wouldnt of said it was wasted money. Thanks glasshouse for making my wedding day that little bit extra great♡♡

Had my wedding reception held here last week. All i can say was the meal was excellent. The staff was really friendly and helpful from management who could not do enough for us, the kitchen staff who worked hard and produce such a tasty wedding breakfast and buffet everyone who came said how they enjoyed the meal and to the bar staff. I would recommend the Glasshouse. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening.

Had my 70 th birthday party there in October,120/140 people great do Paul fab food and a great atmosphere as normal,Sunday lunch this Sunday never had a bad meal always fresh veg loads of choice and very tender meat,my favourite place for Sunday lunch�

Had my 30th party there! Love the function suite. All the staff very helpful- very accommodating. Could have the band, candy floss and fruit tree I wanted there. The food they made on the buffet was beautiful- all my party guests had compliments about the food. Love Sunday dinners there too. Not a bad thing to say about this place- it's clean, well looked after. Any stuff I left over from the party they put to one side for me to collect the following morning. Including the 2 huge balloon palm trees which i unfortunately was unable to take home. But again- the next day the room was immaculate ready for dinners to be served. Many thanks to all the staff for your services last night! My party was perfect with its 80s twist! ��� X

Came down from Scotland to my Sister in law & Brother in laws and we went there for a meal , could not fault it , was excellent 👌, hope to go there again next time we are here 😉👍

Booked for mothering Sunday...table for 6. The food was excellent..great choice of meats and veg. Lovely place nice atmosphere. Friendly staff great service too . Oh and a lovely choice of desserts. Would highly recommend.

I loved my food. Had BBQ melt chicken wrapped in bacon with melted cheese on top. Opted to skip BBQ sauce though. Came with chips and salad.

Really need to look at toilet facilities. Couple of cubicles doors don't lock. One had a cracked toilet seat and one sink had a warning sign.

Toilets need some serious TLC. They are the only down side to this pub. Staff are always friendly and helpful

Attended for a wedding reception.the venue room was decorated beautifully. The staff were very polite and friendly. The buffet looked amazing, My only problem was there was nothing for Gluton free only salad and pieces of cheese. They did say there was chips but they had been cooked in the same oil as other food's containing Gluton. There was no Gluten free Lagar available either. I will visit again but will have to check that my diet can be catered for.

It was a 92nd birthday there was 11 of us. I and 1 other ordered lasanga it was awful, it was thick with cheese and the pasta wasn't cooked properly. Both of us left a lot of it. 1 had what looked like stew in a large Yorkshire pudding, he said the pudding was like leather. We complained to the waiters but nothing was done about it.

I won't be going back again .

It was Saturday night and very busy. My wife ordered mince beef and onion pie. When we got our meals I'm certain my wife's pie was from last weekend, it was solid I called the server over and expressed my dissatisfaction by hitting the pie with my knife and it never broke the crust. She apologised and took the food away. We has a family had nearly finished our meal ( the chips were rammy) and the meals were not hot enough before the pie meal came back. Very disappointed and doubt we will be going back for a very long time, which is a shame because we live very close by.

Well what can I say not been here for a while as food wasn’t great last time we came but know it’s had a bit of a revamp. Went in this evening sat down in the restaurant end after passing 3-4 staff members including in the restaurant. Spent 5-10 minutes looking at the menu, went to order to be told kitchen was closed for at least another 10 minutes with no explanation as to why. We have left as looking around there are obviously a number of tables also waiting to order. Polite customer service would have been to let us know straight away. Very disappointed & hungry��

The atmosphere is welcoming but the food isn’t worth the money. I had lasagne and it was too bland and sickly it didn’t even taste like lasagne. My boyfriend had a curry that was too spicy. He had some cola that was disgusting as it was flat. Really wouldn’t recommend the food here.

Really poor service, food below par, haven't been for about 3 years as it was crap last time we went and thought we'd give it a whirl again and yep, was as crap as the last time. It's fine if you wanna go to a busy pub for just a drink, nice busy atmosphere, but wouldn't ever eat there again. They need to eat out more often themselves to sample what good service and food should be like, then compare with their own. Staff could do with completing customer service skills training too.

Not even worth the 1 star.. what an awful experience from start to finish! Ran out of carvery at 2:30 (even though it is advertised till 4) so we decided to order from the normal menu. Our food took near enough an hour to come and when it did the orders were wrong and meals were horrendous. The waitress shouted and slammed her hands onto her thighs when we told her the order was wrong. We didn't dare complain whilst we were there as we were scared as to what she might say next. I called the next day to speak to the manager who slammed the phone down on me, I called back and he asked me what I wanted him to do about it and basically told me he was doing nothing about it. Safe to say we won't be returning! Gob smacked and some what disappointed. AVOID !!!!!

I ordered mixed grill and it wasn't cheap at £17:50 and the steak was shocking could not chew it was full of fat I told the waiter and he fetched me another one which was the same I fetched them home for the dog and he put his nose up to it by time I got my second steak I had eaten the rest of my dinner very bad service didn't even collect out plates when finished must of been waiting till we left so they didn't have to face the complaint sorry glasshouse gone down in my place to eat in the future

First time here tonight and the place looked lovely inside. Unfortunately that's about it. We went with out 2 year old and waited a total of 50 minutes for our food to arrive and anyone who has or has had a toddler will know that waiting this long sat in a seat when they're hungry is not a pleasant experience. And that was before the food came. I ordered sirloin steak. What a disappointment. The chip's looked liked I had made them at home and really thin and tasted of nothing except grease. I had a total of 2 onion rings on the plate that might as well have been shoe laces and the steak was very hard to chew. My son's sausage and mash looked really nice and although he's usually a good eater, he wasted 3/4 of it. My partner had the tower burger and thought it was tasteless. This was our first meal out in over a year and left us extremely deflated. And after all this, I looked upto the ceiling and someone has splattered a huge dollop of mashed potato onto the ceiling with some of it hanging down. God knows how long it's been there. Not impressed with anything at all!
