The Glenburn Hotel

Reception was good. English Breakfast was good. However, bathroom was narrow, needs more shelves and hooks. 3-storeyed but no lifts.Room outfit/deco mediocre, without hair dryer.Door locks should be upgraded.

Cancelled by phone a hotel room, which they still took payment for and refuse to refund.

Brilliant two night stay at the beautiful River cottage. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food. Will definitely be coming back!

Myself and my husband have just returned from having a wonderful four night stay in the hotel .
We were so very well looked after and the dining etc was extremely fine xxx
The host was extremely charming ( even for a Sunderland Supporterxx) .

Lovely Hotel, staff are very friendly along with very helpful owners. The hotel is located halfway between Windermere and Bowness. Breakfast and Dinner was delicious. We booked direct for the Wine & Dine Offer.Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back in the summer
