Thursdays music - Dave Beckett plays the blues 🎙🎙🎙from 7.30pm

Went on a non-busy Wednesday evening. Interior and decor is great - very cozy sofa / pillow areas are a nice tough and relaxing when having drinks. The food was nice and substantial. Staff were nice and friendly. Felt like an original pub.

We had lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious! We had a fish platter, stuffed peppers, pulled pork wraps and halloumi kebabs. Everyone enjoyed their food and clean plates all round. Reasonable prices too.

Me and my husband stopped for Sunday lunch on our anniversary very friendly staff� my husband had the roast said it was the best he had ever had well worth the money. I am celiac no separate menu or gluten free next to the meals which would have been helpful the staff were very helpful though . A lovely little place to eat would recommend it to everyone �

I've been here a few times and the food has always been fantastic and usually the service good. But last night the service was puzzling. My friend and I were left for two hours after our main meal wondering whether we would be offered any more drinks or the dessert menu. At just after 10 pm I called a member of staff over and asked if desserts were still being served with the response "I'll have to check with kitchen staff". Fortunately the answer was yes so I ordered a dessert and my friend ordered a tea. I got my dessert but the tea never arrived. The restaurant emptied and staff started clearing away with us sat there wondering if we would ever be offered our bill. In the end we walked up to the bar and asked for the bill to be able to leave at 11pm! (We arrived at 7.30). Thankfully the tea had not been put on the bill.

We felt very invisible!
