Out of a love of oysters and the shared experience that they bring The Glorious Oyster was born.

Beach food, seafood and oyster shack in Westward Ho! North Devon.

We shuck and sell some of Devon and Cornwall’s finest pacific oysters, delivered direct from the farmer to ensure quality and freshness, served with a variety of our own sauces and dressings.

We sell dishes with: lobster, crab, beach burgers, things made with laver and other sea vegetables, squid, scallops. . . . .

We operate out of a converted horsebox trailer. Hire the horsebox for your special occasion / celebration.

Our Oysters – are sourced and delivered direct from the oyster farms, which are sustainably farmed on the North Devon and North Cornwall coast. This reduces the links in the supply chain and ensures quality and freshness.

Disposables – the majority of our disposable products are not just biodegradable but completely compostable. Supplied by Vegware, the only UK company that ensures compostability of all their products.

Supporting local independent business – our fresh produce is purchased where possible from local, small independent businesses.
