Went for sunday carvery, meat was beautifully cooked by Joe and i pretty much fell into a food coma for a couple of hours when i got home.

Faber was very friendly and helpful on the bar. All in all a great experience

We were staying in Weymouth for the weekend and were looking for somewhere my other half could watch the rugby and we could have something to eat. This was the first place we came across and were not disappointed. Not only did my other half get to watch the rugby but the food was really good. Would definitely come here again if we ever stayed in Weymouth again.

The best rib eye steak I have had in England ever! Cooked on a hot stone by ourselves. The staff were really good and cared for the customers to. Can't wait to go again thank you!

The best Carvery ever !! So many different veg , wouldn’t go any where else !! Just one thing !!! It would be nice if everything was a little hotter though!! !

Nice venue, the food was excellent, one of the best steak and ale pies I’ve had, we’ll be back next time we’re in Weymouth.

Me and other half had Sunday lunch here today and it was amazing plenty of veg,meat and the best gravy we definitely visit again.

Lovely relaxed venue for Christmas carvery. Good food friendly staff. I could personally have done without the football but you can’t have everything.

I have booked meals at the Gloucester several times this year and every time the staff could not have been more helpful. There's plenty of variety on the menu to please everyone and all very well cooked and presented. We all ate delicious rib eye steaks this time cooked by the chef, not on hot rocks, chips were delicious. It's also a good place to go to meet friends for a drink with plenty of TV screens if the conversation dies! Would recommend this place.

Had the carvery on Mothers day it was amazing as usual the selection of veg is the best part as I don't care for meat that much. The only downfall I found was that the desserts are way over priced.

Had are Xmas dinner there Friday night and could not fault it. Was brought to the table by using are name's very nice touch.

Had a lovely meal! Told there was a 45/1hr wait it came in 30mins and was worth it! Busy pub and a nice atmosphere. Would defiantly recommend.

Had a great evening yesterday at the Gloucester, food was epic at 15 pounds for 3 courses, atmosphere was lovely too.. entertainment was amusing with lots of live screens everywhere and friendly staff.. this is a must try place ;)

Brilliant venue, thank you so much to all the staff who worked so hard to make my parents 50th wedding anniversary so memorable. They table decorations were a great touch, the food for all 18 of us was fantastic - especially the hot rock steaks and king prawns. It couldn't have gone any better and excellent value for money. Brilliant meal last night with my husband and two friends , we enjoyed the hot rocks and also puddings . Staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious . Look forward to coming again

Black rock steak is genius. Cook it to taste. Chips onion rings garlic bread and peppercorn sauce amazing...

Attended a work Christmas Party last night & thoroughly enjoyed it. We were a large group along with other groups celebrating too. The menu selection was good, & of a high quality, served efficiently by the busy, friendly staff & reached the table hot. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiters & waitresses. Generous portion sizes, with excellent presentation. Couldn’t fault it!! Well done!

A massive thank you to all the wonderful staff at The Gloucester for hosting my 50th birthday meal on Saturday 29th July!! Feeding 36 of us was no mean achievement in itself but the food was fantastic, generous and hot too!! We had such a great time that we decided to stay for the whole evening and thoroughly enjoyed 'The Average Wyke Band' performance too. Thank you so much � I will definitely be recommending you to all of my friends ��� xx

They had some good music . And a really good atmosphere.. although we didnt eat in there.. the food looked good..

Two dislikes...they stop serving and they turn their coffee machine off early around 7ish.. main dislike... it constantly stinks of burning cooking fat.. its an unpleasant smell . Puts you off staying in there.

The food is always great and the staff are friendly. Had an interesting night with some live music.

Lovely interior,friendly staff. Sports screen. We had lunch and the food was excellent and reasonable prices for quality.

Had rump steak and it was lovely,ordered medium rare and it was just how i like it! Would highly recommend �

We were very very disappointed in the event for Halloween. We came all the way from lymington to join in with the celebrations for the evening and well what a let down no decorations and not many of the staff dressed up . My husband received a email in regards of the event it told him that the pub would be transformed and that there would be plenty of surprises in store . I know that their was football on but even so very disappointed Mrs L Benham also cost us a lot of money to get to Weymouth as we love Weymouth
