Wow! Fantastic customer service from Claire, the Manager of the Children’s Department. Claire rectified an issue I had with a shoe I’d bought for my daughter previously. Claire was patient with my daughter & explained to me what she was looking for in the fit of the shoe. It’s not very often you feel important as a customer or get treated like your custom matters but today I felt like my daughter and I were the only customers in the shop.

We bought just before our daughter went back to school those hyper branded shoes Lelly ... and realise that they were not suitable at all to wear as everyday shoes, went back to let them know our disappointment and were ready to buy a new pair. Not only the manager came to check everything, but they gave us the new pair and refund us of the differenc. They all are really good people, its a really good shop, the service is always fantastic

We bought a pair of beautiful Jeffrey West shoes for a friend as a birthday present. They arrived in a gorgeous box along with shoe protector bags, perfect as a gift. Unfortunately the size was wrong, but this was when I really appreciated the exemplary service from The Golden Boot. Trudi, head of Mens' Dept, could not have been more helpful. She suggested alternative styles, and spoke directly to my friend, to discuss the sizing issue over the phone as he lives too far away to visit the branch. A replacement pair was dispatched promptly, and a refund provided automatically as the second pair were less expensive. Trudi was hugely helpful throughout the process, keeping me informed on how the resolution was progressing. It was such a positive experience, I cannot thank Trudi enough. My friend is delighted with his new Jeffrey Wests and I will certainly use The Golden Boot again. Thank you!

I was very very lucky to have a gift voucher from my husband to spend on shoes, he took me in on my birthday and I was able to treat myself to some gorgeous new shoes. The whole experience made me feel special,starting with the fact that they actually stock shoes in my size...I have very small feet! I love the old fashioned service and attention, in a new modern environment with up to the minute new trends as well as good classics. We were even offered coffee! Thank you for making my birthday special. I love my shoes! �

I really recommend this shop. The staff are always excellent and our recent visit was no exception. The young man that served us showed amazing patience while we spent an age trying on half the shoes in the shop, to find some that suited my daughter's feet and her extremely fussy taste! We were delighted with our final purchase and, although pricey, the quality of the shoes is brilliant. We would never go anywhere else for school shoes.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience in Golden Boot today I thought I had to. My son turned 1 last week and it was about time we went to get his first ‘proper’ pair of shoes! The whole team in the shop made the experience really memorable, from the interactions with my son, the brilliant book and photo, the train, which he was fascinated by!!! It’s very rare these days that good old fashioned customer service is on full show, but today it was. Well done and because the the service alone, we will be back.

I came in today with my daughter and received an excellent service from a lovely lady. She had all the patience in the world and took all the time we needed to choose the perfect pair of shoes. She was kind as were all the other staff and they were very helpful to offer advice and make suggestions within our price range. No pressure was applied and we had a great time watching all the fantastic trains go round. My daughter had a picture taken with her new shoes and we had great fun. I definitely recommend this shop and service as I could not fault it.

Got my twin girls first shoes from here and so so happy with the service we received. They only 1 pair available on the day as my girls are the same size so we ordered the second pair in. Once they were ready to collect I went to collect them but was in a rush and Sarah was amazing at helping me. We got a picture and a book which my husband was amazed at and keeps showing everyone ha! Will definitely be coming back when they need their next pair x
