We go often to the Golden Dragon, alway good food and service, its that busy you may have to wait for a table, but worth the wait!!

If you get a large group together it works out good value for the dim sum just lack of vegetarian options. A popular and well regarded restaurant.

I was well looked after by the manager and the food was delicious. The only reason I rated 4 stars rather than 5 , I had to wait a long time for the rice for the main course, so the food was cold by the time I could start eating. Also, I am not sure the wine was the one I ordered. Tasted kind of cheap ( sour) .

I had the noodle soup and was asked if I wanted small or large with no reference given. It was very large. Luckily it was also quite tasty and the crispy pork belly was also delicious. My friend had a different noodles dish which he said was quite bland and a pork and cashew dish which had mostly fat, not much pork. Staff were very attentive and service was quick.

Great food, little expensive but worth it. Jasmine tea is lovely and the pork dishes are very very tasty :)

Came here for dim sum with the family! Tried to ring in advance but I’m not sure I was understood and they put the phone down so we just went first thing about 11.30 and 5 of us were seated with ease. By the time we left, people were queueing so I would recommend getting in early if you don’t book.



The 2 vegans ordered fried dough stick cheung fun, tofu ho fun (it wasn’t on the menu, we asked them to amend it, it was on the menu as beef ho fun), the vegetable hot pot and mixed vegetable fried rice.



The dough stick and ho fun was really tasty! The rice was bland and plain and the vegetable hot pot could’ve been a lot better.



The service was quick, the staff were pleasant apart from one who was rude after making a mistake - they brought 2 meat hot pots even though we ordered 2 vegetable ones.



The food was good and reasonably priced. I would say the vegan menu needs to expand though.

The food is average, can find much better places for sure, service is far from great, some waiters are not friendly, didn't like them adding discretional service charge for the service which wasn't worth it

Staff are not customer friendly, one of the beef dishes was very chewable and complained to one of the female staff but was reluctant to remove from bill until spoke to manager then it was removed. Service was awful . Put on a discretionary service charge and when asked to remove it the waitress was rude by snatching the debit card from me. Never use this one again .

Nothing special. Indifferent service - they charge for service too! Toilets could do with some attention too.

This time food was the same service was good but that's were it all changed. Prices have doubled, staff are rude (asked for fork and knife and waitress didn't like it) but my biggest problem was the service charge added to the bill. ( I told them take it off. My bill my choice) plus I noticed they printed 2 bills ( one with the service charge) tax man ripoff. Won't be back.

It’s a tough one to rate as the food when it did arrive was very good but the service was awful, the waitress who took our order was rude.. after realising we had been waiting well over an hour (the only reason we waited so long is that the place was busy) and all three tables around us eating their food (even though they arrived after us!). I asked the waitress where our food was, she didn’t seem that bothered and didn’t come back to us, 5 mins later the manager came over to explain our food hadn’t been placed with the kitchen but would get it over to us in 5 mins, in fairness it did arrive 10 mins later. After taking our empty glasses, the manager asked if we wanted more drinks. I said after waiting over an hour for food we would not be paying for more drinks and so he gave us a round free. The waitress that came to drop our bill off was lovely and smiley until I informed her that we waited so long for our food that we would like the service charge removed please and the change in attitude was amazing, rather than apologising she snatched the bill up had a little joke with her manager and then slapped the bill down again in front of us. We made sure to pay to the penny and then another manager came over to us to count the money! Never in my life have I had a restaurant count the money in front of me! As previously stated the food was lovely but the service was appalling, I also wouldn’t recommend if your in a rush!

This restaurant was terrible. There was 3 of us and we ordered mixed platter for 2, made it clear that it was for 2 not 3. Waited ages, other tables who came in later were served before. When we got the bill they had charged us for 3 portions. We queried bill and staff became very nasty. Eventually they took it off the bill but said that the waitress would have to pay what we refused to pay. Absolutely disgusting. We refused to pay the service charge. The main course was horrible. The pork belly was served with a tiny bowl of English mustard straight out of a jar. Will never be there again.

This restaurant is not recommended. Staff so rude. No atmosphere. Ordered crispy duck they bought something else and it was gross. Over charged payment. Would never recommend!!!!!

I would like to comment about how good their food is, but I never got my dish. My family was halfway done when I asked our waitress. She went to go check and reassured me it was on its way. It never came and she never came back to check. We spoke to the manager to have it stricken from the check. All they said was sorry. No discount, no free dessert, nothing. I don't understand how they missed my order when I was the one who placed my order first. The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is because my family said it was good.
