great pub, great selection of beers, mine being the no notion porter mmm, you always get a warm welcome, a very homely pub where you are not a stranger for long, no rip off prices, vito deserves a medal for keeping this rural pub alive, well done.mike

What a great pub, in fact it's probably one of the most brilliant pubs I've visited for a long time, if you haven't been, then get yourself there straight away! The beer is excellent and really well priced, I haven't had chance to sample the food yet, but it looks and smells equally as good (and again is really well priced).

I will definitely be making the journey across the river again, only this time I'll get my wife to drive!

The best pub in the East Riding of Yorkshire in my humble opinion. Great food, great beers and ciders, great staff. Who could ask for more?

The best have to go to pub in the East Riding,great food,great staff,and a brilliant atmosphere.

Stumbled on this place and stopped for a pint. Beer was excellent and the ham sandwich I had was delicious. Will be back soon for a meal as the food I saw being served looked incredible.

Shame I have to travel fae Scotland to get a decent pint and a meal, never disapointed when visiting mates in Market Weighton, great atmosphere what ever time of year.

Our friends live in Market Weighton and suggested we nip to the Goodmanham arms for the first 2 drinks of the evening. What a fabulous old pub. A proper old fashioned locals' Boozer. A great selection of real ale, including beer from the onsite micro brewery, and all reasonably priced. Although we didn't eat at the pub, I saw some heftily piled plates coming out of the kitchen that smelt wonderful.

I wish this pub was only a mile or so from where I live.

My wife and I hope to steer our friends back to the pub in the Summer months, where we will drink and eat dinner.

Can't wait!!!

It was my first visit and I will be definitely going back. The decor is very quaint and different. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food absolutely delicious. We went at a very busy time on a Sunday afternoon had to wait for food but definitely well worth the wait. There was a lovely lady who I was told was the owner was chatting away very friendly. She apologised for the wait and offered us coffee as a sorry even though we hadn't complained!!

Everything we had was lovely looking forward to my next visit already.

Got married today - could think of nowhere better than The Goodmanham Arms for a delicious lunch , top class ale and the good vibe that just happens there .

The Goodmanham Arms is a very special place for us .

Everything first class - as always .

Found this place after doing some research on google. I went with my girlfriend as we wanted to try somewhere new, we were not to be disappointed, what a little gem! When we went in it was really busy and it was only midday! The bar area was packed and straight away this is always a good sign! Onto the ales, there was a fantastic selection of both home brew and other real ales, a fantastic place to try if you like a pint or two! Onto the food, there was a great selection for a Sunday roast, I personally chose the roast pork and my other half went for the lamb. Simply amazing food! You won't be disappointed!!! The staff were friendly, the locals friendly too! We will definitely be returning to this iconic yet impressive pub right in the heart of the wolds! Words don't do it justice, it was simply superb in all aspects. Can't wait to return!

A lovely range of different ales to chose from including their own which they brew on site. Unfortunately the one I wanted to try was sold out but the barmaid was able to recommend another which did don't disappoint.

We were told about this little beauty by family who live nearby (we are from The New Forest) who often eat there and love it! We didn't have time on this occasion but will most certainly be visiting again to try more of their tastey ale and delicious food!
