The table service part was full so we ordered at the bar. The menu is the same. My all day breakfast was very good as was my husbands fish and chips. It was over priced but all food and drinks are at airports.

User

We ordered our food to table 328 only for your waiter to deliver it to the table nearby. We watched at first the look of confusion on the faces of the traveller who recieved someone else's order. They were even touching the burger and chips. Then we tasted the most expensive coleslaw (£4.29 for a small pot) in the world to find we had been given something tasted like it was a week old. I know we don't get much choice of where to eat but that doesn't mean you have to give shit service and shit food.

User

The pub itself is nice, good seating area and a nice selection of food and drink available. However I didn't get to try any of the food and had to drink my drink so fast it didn't really matter what the hell it was this was entirely due to the gentleman (Adam) serving on the bar who to be honest didn't seem to have any urgency despite being in an airport where generally time is of the essence. The queue I was in had about 6 people in it, this might as well have been 50 people as it took 40 minutes of standing there like a lemon waiting to be served the entire queue was equally irritated. Other people in the queues next to us that seemed to be being served by competent staff not only actually got their drink in a timely manner but were able to finish it before we had even been served. It took so long we couldn't order food, had to drink our drink stupidly quickly and grab a sandwich from somewhere else to eat at the gate. I appreciate it can be busy but literally pouring one drink at a time and spending time answering the phone and trying to pour wine back into the bottle after overfilling someone's glass is unnecessary. Shame as would have liked to try the food and enjoy my drink with a little more time.

We were here last year and got a really good value breakfast, not so good this time-service was quick but the meal wasn’t piping hot and the table wasn’t cleaned but got a nice pint of San Miguel though. Fair dos as the place was heaving, might give it miss next time we’re here.

User

Nice beer selection but to say service is slow is an understatement. An elephant could have become pregnant and given birthday in the time took me to get to the front of the queue. Stop being tight arses and put some more staff on.

User

Far too expensive - £9.29 for a veggie breakfast that had probably only £2.00 worth of food! When it arrived , 15 minutes later, it was luke warm at best.

We stood 22 minutes to be exact to get served at the bar!

The staff could do with learning some Customer Service skills! You wouldn’t charge these prices on the high street, cos you wouldn’t last 2 minutes, so why hike the price up because you are in an airport!!

User

£83 for 6 people for a small cold breakfast with burnt toast, strongly recommend going somewhere, I expect to pay a little more in an airport but not when the quality is this poor!!!

User

£31 for 2 breakfasts and 2 teas. When it came the waiter practically threw it on the table. When we tried it it was nearly cold. I took it back and he just shrugged and pointed at the hot plate. I said for him to try it then and he then changed it. Even then it wasn't good but it was hot. Will never go again even if nowhere else in the terminal is open. Wouldn't recommend this place to anywhere.

User

Waste of money. £9 for a breakfast and it's tiny! Asked to swap egg for extra sausage, cashier put it through no problem but server waited until he served us our breakfast to say this wasn't allowed. Waiter said he would talk to manager to sort but still waiting after 15mins. Would have been happy with extra beans or potato but no joy either!

Have a flight to catch as everyone else will do here so you think they would understand speed is necessary.

User

Was served in Manchester airport by a girl called Kate v 975... she was so rude... the man in front was waiting for his change ... it was only 30p

But she obviously had no

Intentions of giving him it! She went on to serve us... when he pointed out that she had not given him his change she said, oh I owe you 30p and went back to the till clearly annoyed ??? Is this the way the grain loft operates? Charge ridiculous prices and then fleece the customer further for tips????? I had eggs royale £11.79... the picture showed a large piece of smoked salmon... I got a small scrap on each half of a muffin ... one half was wet through... as though it had had water poured over it! I realised that the poached eggs must come frozen and one of them had not been defrosted properly... stone cold.... service in this place was a joke and they must be laughing all the way to the bank.... staff need to be taught customer relations and deskilled cooking staff need training... verdict? Disgusting ... oh and larger? £6 a pint and not even a full measure .... grain loft I

Suggest you get your act together... what a disappointment.... oh and I forgot to say Kate V 975 was extremely rude to me telling me I needed to go to

The back of the queue as I joined my daughter ....

User

The food is horrible because it was served cold, after complaiing, we were served the same thing twice and it was cold both times, refund was give, will not eat here again.

User

Shambles of a set up, if Manchester Airport want to get their numbers up to Heathrow levels, places like this need to get their act together. 2 bar staff massive queues, no post mix, at 3.45am already ran out of napkins and ketchup. If this was anywhere except an airport it would have shut down. Wrongly cashing in on a captive audience.

User

Rude and arrogant staff, didn’t even know if the kitchen is open in five minutes or twenty five minutes......you people do know your in the service industry don’t you????if the staff got any slower I would check them for a pulse absolute disgrace

User

Payed well over the odds a tiny ‘breakfast’ and pint, the waiter then come and took some of our drinks without consent before we’d finished. I actually had nearly a whole drink left so we asked at the bar for our drinks to be returned and they refused. We asked for the manager which he said he was but refused to help. To make this worse our dirty plates was left on the table - they literally only took our unfinished drinks. The waiter had actually taken responsibility for this but the manager refused to accept it. Absolutely awful customer service and an extremely rude/ignorant manager. Shocking!

User

Overpriced, terrible burgers, dirty tables (all of them, I moved 3 times and never found a clean one in the whole place), poor service, long waiting times. Avoid if you can.

User

My food had a hair in it, when I went to the bar to complain I spoke to three people, not one of them apologised and although I did receive a refund I was told to go back to the back of the queue to buy drinks, even though the gentleman doing the refund worked and was stood behind the bar. Disgusting customer service, poor hygiene!

User

I do love bar staff who serve like they've never worked a bar in their lives

User

High prices low quality, definitely give it a miss like all the other 1* reviews I would give it negative stars if I could, bruger was barely warm tasted bland, chips were barely cooked, would have been better with a microwave meal at least I wouldn't have to remortgage the house for that

User

Having the gall to charge £12+ for a fry-up is bad enough, but that near enough everything on the plate was stone cold was just the icing on a turd-flavoured cake.

They obviously know you don’t have time to argue, send food back and wait for freshly-made. Honestly, spend your money somewhere like Giraffe where they have brand standards to uphold.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.
