Very dog friendly place to stay. Quiet beautiful location on a working farm. Very dog friendly. Excellent food. Great hospitality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2 night stay at Grainary Farm in Harwood Dale, Nr. Scarborough. Very comfortable accommodation. Tearooms/Restaurant has an extensive menu/wine list and the food was excellent, we are sure to return in the future.

A really nice place to stay as a family. Amazing scenery and peaceful walks accompanied by the farm dogs. Great for adults and the kids.

I stayed at the Grainary Farm Stay and Tea Rooms late September midway through a road trip. It was absolutely delightful and restful! My room was very spacious, the farm was beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. I'm fully intending on going back.

Menu was impressive for a 'Tea Room'. Food was fantastic - best home cooked chips I've had in a long time. Price of bottles of beer wasn't as bad I expected. Lovely scenery and the staff were very friendly. Oh and the farm dog 'Lolly' was a lovely silly thing!

Had afternoon tea which was over priced couldnt chose which sandwich you want the ham sandwich was greasy and loads of butter on the cream to go with the scone was spuirty cream and had fresh strawberry in bottom which i dont eat wont be going back.

Very nice place, quiet and tucked away. Good menu and lots of animals to see.

We've visited The Grainary twice over the last year and really enjoyed both stays. We found the accommodation comfortable, the facilities excellent and the feel of the entire place really relaxing and personable. The staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive, and the place itself is a really interesting location to stay with it being a working farm as well as a tea room and restaurant.

They have an excellent selection of reasonably priced home cooked dishes, including vegetarian options and locally sourced produce to choose from, as well as local cheeses and real ales which I'm a big fan of! The farm is surrounded by beautiful scenery, as well as the farm's livestock which offers an especially unique experience. It's close to the coast, as well as the Yorkshire moors and a number of great places to visit, so is ideal for those looking for a base for further travel, or just somewhere to relax and unwind.

Loved our 1 night stay here. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. We dined in the evening and also ate breakfast in the conservatory. The food was fresh, homemade and flavoursome! There is a nice lounge area for relaxing with a selection of books, guides and a tv. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to stay in the NYM. 5 star!!!

Fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and the acommodation was perfect. The store selling local produce was a great touch. Best of all were the animals. The cows, sheep, pigs and goats were a real delight and the farm dogs were delightful.

Amazing litte place. Loads of animals that are really friendly. We had a sheep that wanted petting then had a go at us when it got its head stuck in the fence. The three of us, myself the missus and sheep worked together to rescue it. Cool little shop indoors too with homemade beer or cider alongside branded beverages and gifts. Rooms cozy and tidy. Nice lounge area. Great scenary and views from the farm and the staff are ace.

As always with our visits here, everythjng was fantastic! We stayed for two nights in the Foxglove cottage and it was excellent spacious, clean and will sleep up to 4 people. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights and the food was delicious. This was our fourth stay at the Grainary, but by no means our last, we can't wait to stay again.
