We turned up without a reservation and we're not waiting in the bar area around 30 minutes, if that, to be seated. The food was lovely as was our server. Very reasonable prices and everything is delivered to the table piping hot and beautifully cooked!! Would definitely recommend to others and will be returning for a steak very soon 😊

Took my son out for his birthday meal and enjoyed every minute of it the food was great also nice and hot and the service one of the best had a lovely time would go again lovely place to go

We were seated at 7pm and served by a lovely young lady who was on the go ALL the two and a half hours we were there. We were booked under the name of Sherwood. The 6 of us had a very enjoyable and pleasent evening out in your Resturant . We were celebrating my daughters 'B' Exam Results 6s across the board . THANKYOU very much see you all again real soon.

Lush food £5 fish,chips and mushy peas. Was really tasty and a big portion too would highly recommend

The bar staff in the evening was a different matter a young guy behind the bar meaning he was on his own even though it wasn't busy and his words not ours, me my wife and young daughter was the company are S--T mate it's supposed to be a pub and they only serve chilly nuts 😂But the Guinness was good.

Had lunch before heading for a U2 concert. All staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was good quality and good portion sizes. Our server Amy was very friendly and chatty. Would go back when in the area, thank you!

14 of us seated together on a really busy December Sunday. Not one complaint from any of us. I had the pate starter and turkey roast. I couldn't believe how big the portions were. Happy, helpful staff.

Stayed in the premier inn next door and had the breakfast. Seated straight away and served quickly. Food was lovely and set us up for the rest of the day. Only shame was that hot drinks were only tea and coffee no cappuccino or lattes 😩 But I got over it 😊Many thanks will be back next time we visit family 👍

We went yesterday 12.3 Food was lovely as always, however we booked and commented it was our daughters 3 birthday. Every time we went in the past birthday boy/girl/adult world be treated as very special by host, congratulations, balloons even cupcake with candle. So it was very disappointing as there was nothing offered to make our little girl to feel special on her birthday. I asked for balloon as she saw other children had them and only then she got one. We don’t expect free food but some sweet words and attention would have made a big impact!

I used to eat quite often a year ago but on two occasions had terrible meals so reluctant to eat there. I went yestrrday and was pleased to say the food has improved greatly. The service was good too.

Fried heavy over battered oily food. But if you like such things you can get good value.

The service was fine no issue but the food wasn’t so good medium rare steak was blue another was well done food was either cold or lukewarm and we wanted garlic prawns no garlic butter but they couldn’t do that? Not sure why just cook them with out the butter?

They did take the cost of all our mains off the bill
