Very friendly welcoming staff, super quick service and lovely food beautifully presented! What can be nicer on a Saturday evening than Fish and Chips and a glass of wine.

This place is not going to be good for my diet! Best fish and chips in town by far and very generous portions. Only tried the takeaway so far but would love to try the restaurant at some point.

Smashing food nice & clean good service

Second visit tonight (to eat in), best fish we've had locally and the service is so good. You can't find friendlier staff, they even ask the kids what colour straw they'd like! Will be back again.

Really lovely great food can't fault it at a great price. Caravaning it Bampton so came 8 miles to collect and we'll worth it

Just had a meal earlier tonight and can highly recommended the food at The Great British Takeaway. The fish and chips are really nice and fresh. My son had a burger and chips which was also good quality. My family have dined here often before and we will be returning again. The service is very pleasant and friendly plus quick. Today being a Wednesday it was very busy which was good to see.

I have come here a few times now and every time I have been pleased with what I’ve eaten! The guy who’s always on the till is very friendly, I don’t know what his name is but I Thankyou very much for all your service and impeccable standards of your takeaway.

Come here regularly with my family and they do they are the BEST fish and chip shop around. Greet food but also the staff are brilliant. They have Aksum catered for 2 school leavers meals so 50 very happy school children! Thanks x

Best take away in town, slightly pricey but worth every penny.

A lovely clean takeaway and resturant went there for a birthday treat and was not dissapointed lovely freshly cooked fish and chips nice and hot and served with a smile �

2nd visit tonight, fish and chips, big pot of mushy peas (only need the one!), chip portions a little on the big side for us, so large between us. Kids love the cheese burgers. Love the queuing system. Gorgeous Well done guys!!

Good food when you can get the food you actually ordered! Nice clean place disabled toilet very practical and clean

It's rubbish I threw two fish and one chips and chappy curry in the bin were they belonged go and try doing in your own country good riddance
